How many cals does it come to? And I wonder if it would work with dates?
-
Thank you all who have given recipes. I appreciate it very much. And to those whose smoothies come to more than 150cal I would still appreciate your recipes, I can add/remove items to suit me.

Day 1 = 5.73km, I'm pleased with myself. Never one to do any form of excercise, every 0.01km is an accomplishment!!

Ive been reading about chia seeds. Does anyone add them to smoothies? And if so do you find they help with fibre needs? And do they aid in feeling full for longer?
-
Thanks for the recipes guys, appreciate them very much

Ok I'm in. My first forage into any kind of challenge and excercise so I'm starting slow. I will commit to 100km for October. That's. 3.2km a day. I should be able to do that. And hey everyone starts somewhere. All the best to all
-
So let me see if I understand this right. I just set myself a goal of a certain distance to be completed by the end of October?

Hi I'm a nurse and work the long 12 and half hour shifts. Just came off nights yesterday day have today off then back tomorrow. It's these dodgy shift patterns and the level of intense workload that led to me not caring what I ate. I would just eat what was fastest, easiest and going to fill me up. Now since I joined MFP…

I have a a dress I love. Makes feel amazing when I wear it. But right now two sizes too small. I don't have the heart to give it away. I want to wear it again and feel the soft silk and lace against my skin again. Feel like a million dollars again. It hugs where I need it too and flares where I want it to.

Thank you to everyone who has posted. You have all offered some interesting ideas. And I will start to try something other than bananas.

Thanks guy I didn't think about being able to dip. Hence why I avoid vegetables. But if I can make them taste of something I will be tempted to eat more veggies too. Appreciate your input.

How does that work? The more you eat the more you have?
-
Lol so do you debate whether you can afford the cost of certain foods or meals?
-
Thank you sugarfree. Kind advice is always welcome.

Thank you danishadow.

You look amazing!!
-
Hi look amazing!! Well done for keeping going. Can I ask if you have had any loose skin after shedding so much weight?

Nice suggestion, but won't work. I can still get to it. It's not that I don't want to reach it, but want to be able to stop jumping on it. Any thoughts? Guess I should mention that as I only have myself for encouragement/motivation/support the scales are what I rely on (far too much) to tell me how I'm doing.

Thanks to all who have explained this. I have always wondered at the cooked/uncooked calories and how they are accounted for in the end. You are right. Better to count the raw calories than get confused with the whole cooked and uncooked palaver.

You won't gain weight for eating later in the day because what matters is how many calories you eat. As long as you stay within your daily calorie limit you can't physically gain weight. I'm a nurse and therefore work long shifts. Which for me means that my last meal of the day for me can be either about half 9 in the…

For as long as I can remember my weight has yo-yoed. This time I want it to be different. So I'm doing it different. I have made myself a graph chart and stuck it on my bedroom wall. I see it each morning and night but also coming and going from the bedroom. Not all of us have iron will power and discipline and I find it…

I went through the same thing a few days ago. Did great for about 5 days then all I could think about was pizza. And of course I didn't just order pizza I went ahead and ordered wedges and spicy wings and garlic bread. It arrived, I sat and enjoyed a slice of pizza and garlic bread and had two spicy wings. The rest as was…

Meringue nests are 51 cal. Bought from the supermarket and ready to eat. Like a lot of people I can't live without a sugary treat of some sort or other. And as chocolate doesn't really fit into my new way of eating, I found the meringue nests are sweet, low in cals and hit the spot without sending me over my daily cal…
