  • These both look great. I'll be trying them soon. Thank you ladies.
  • Ouch! I hope you are feeling better soon. You can always workout your arms with dumbbells to stay in the exercise routine. And I agree with Sonia, EAT if you are hungry, your body needs those calories. And remember the definition of calorie is a unit of heat… so eat and stay warm.
  • I do have a small gym at work, I guess I need to start doing some quick lunch workouts. Thanks for the tips everyone.
  • Hi everyone, My name is Lynn. I an a married working mom of 2 (Madison 6 and Grant 8 months). I am still trying to figure out how to balance my life now with 2 children, work, hubby, friends…everything! I love the outdoors and I used to be very active and sporty, but I have a hard time getting out lately. I’m also a bit of…
  • I am 33 weeks. Sending friend request.
  • Thanks. I'll be looking at this later :)
  • I will have to try this. I am not a big fan of corn in Taco soup.
  • Three weeks ago I was driving on the interstate when a red Mustang flew past us, at about 100mph. My neighbors granddaughter says "Sweet car" and all I could think of was that is so dangerous. Quickly followed by Wow I'm officially old now!
  • Best exercise advice ever!!!!

  • I'm not sure what line you are taking but if it is Carnival try John Herald blog and Facebook page. He list the menus and some of the recipes. Also you can always eat off of the Spa or light menu, I think they have on listed for every meal.
  • Good luck to you and everyone else. I am also a working mom of a soon to be kindergartener. I have found that the only way I can fit a workout in is at work. I will do 15 minutes of cardio (treadmill or elliptical) at lunch and then another 15 minutes (cardio or weighs) at the end of the day. I don’t have the time for long…
  • Love her. I think she is a great anchor for real news. I hope to see her again on TV soon. Perhaps in the evening.
  • Sear the chicken breast on the stove for a few minutes each side and then cook it in the oven. If you don't sear it on the stove first to form a coating on the outside, all the juices will run out of the inside.
  • Thank You. I never knew what the meals were for.
  • Congrats!! Best wishes on a happy health addition to your family.
  • I'm not an expert but I would split up the workouts if you can. I also would only do the treadmill every other day to give your body some rest (or you might get shin splints again). As far as eating goes try it both ways and see what works for you. I can't workout on an empty stomache but some people can't workout with a…
  • Bump! Don't have time to read the thread now but I can't wait to find some suggestions. I would have to recommend the Stephanie Plum series, they are an easy, fun read.
  • I added the cost per serving and got $13.78. She said it would cost $28 for the week so I think you can infer that each meal serves 2 people.
  • As a side a cut up fresh raw veggies, Cucumber, onion, bell peppers, mushroom, olives, tomatoes squash whatever you have from the garden add a can of drained chick peas some crumbled feta cheese, than marinate with balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing (bottle or make your own). Server with a slotted spoon or drain before…
  • Bump! I have got to try this!!
  • Look at the www.cruisecritic.com They have a whole section for first time cruisers. I learned the hard way to BRING A WATCH. There are not a lot of clocks around the ship and all the activities have a start time. I've been on 6 cruises all Carnival so message me if you have any specific question about that line. I'm not…
  • This. There are 365 recipes with her family review and what her 2 daughters thought of the food. Most of the dishes have pictures and lots of comments on how to change it to make it work for you. The only problem is so of the cooking times are 4-6 hours. I've heard that the timers to turn your lights on work great but I…
  • On a cruise ... where is not so important!
  • I've donated blood in the morning and then worked out after work. I felt fine at first (15 minutes) but then my energy level went down fast. If you normally feel fine after donating blood a easy/light workout should be okay (note I have no medical experience) but if you start feeling bad slow down or stop, don't push…
  • I always make a lettuce free salad to take to events like this. It's a big hit with everyone. You can modify it to your taste, any veggie will do but this is my favorite: 2 cucumbers sliced 1 tomatoes sliced in small wedges 1/2 cup raw onion diced 1 package feta cheese 1 can/jar black pitted or Greek olives pitted mushroom…

  • Thank You! I am so sick of eating ham, this is perfect for the left overs.
  • Sounds like fun! Please add me.
  • There are some resorts on cable (sp?) near Nassau. They are very nice and not many if any children. Stay away from Atalantis which has tons of families. I've only been there on cruises but here is a list from the cruise critic web site. Hope it helps and enjoy. Beaches Best Beach for Active Types: Visit Paradise Island,…
  • If it's not lighting and thundering, How about puddle jumping. Allowing a 4 year old to get muddy and joining in too, to them you would be parent of the year!
