I is okay to have a cheat day, if it keeps you on track the rest of the week and you are still losing. Look up the calories for the pizza and see how many calories you have left over from exercise the entire week. And I would ditch the chips. Good luck!! :)

Change up your exercise to keep you body guessing, it gets used to what you usually do and will stop working. Cardio is great for initial calorie loss and heart health, but once you stop exercising you stop buring calories. Add in some weight training for an all day calorie burn, the more muscle you build the more calories…

I am 42 and would like to lose 40lbs, have lost 19 so far and have come to a stop. It has been a slow process for me and realize it is not as easy as it was in my 20's or even 30's to shed some pounds. I also have a hypothyroid and even though I am on Synthroid for it I find I need to do a lot of cardio (but also do…

I think I would ease them into it, unless they have been active. They are seniors now, and they can feel the same as us when starting an exercise program, such as stiffness and pain.

I have Hypothyroidism and I am on Synthroid for it. Helps, but I still find I need to do lots of cardio in order to lose any weight (to keep my metabolism strong)...but it can be done. Are you doing any kind of exercise? I also need to be diligent with my diet and measure everything. Good luck to you and I wish you the…

I am on Pinterest and have both healthy and un-healthy (for special occasions). I got some of my recipes from Skinnytaste.com. Still need to put some into the recipe builder to see how healthy they actually are. You are welcome to take a look, Shona Myers on Pinterest. :)

I have started buying frozen veggies because of the sodium content in canned. But if it must be canned, I agree with rinsing and boiling in fresh water. :)

Try to eat at least 1200 cal a day. When I exercise that much I eat some of the cal for a total of around 1400 a day. If you are not hungry then stick with the 1200. You are doing great!!! :)

I only wear mine when I work out. I would get one with the chest strap as they are more accurate and count your calories burned compared to the strapless ones. I hjave the Polar FT4 and love it...very comfortable strap (feels like your bra). Good luck!!! :)

I use Splenda for my tea or coffee a couple times a day.

Mine is open, but I do tend to eat the same things day to day. If it is low cal, fills me and is yummy, I will keep eating it. I need to change it up a bit. :)

I say eat when you are hungry!! You are including at least 3 meals a day, and as long as you are not waiting too long and making wrong choices because you get "too hungry" then I say you are doing just GREAT. :)
-
5'5" with 40 lbs to lose...lost 16 of it!!!

You are doing GREAT!!! Muscle weighs more than fat...so you are heading in the right direction. Keep consistant and you will see bigger changes eventually. WELL DONE!!! :)

^^This is what I was going to say, and the caffeine in Coffee will dehydrate you more (which may make you hungry as well as thirsty). So drink up on the water and limit your caffeine intake!!! :)
