I hear ya! As soon as I give up sugar the weight falls off. BUT---it just takes one moment for me to grab a handful of chocolate chips and then it takes weeks or months for me to give it up again. I crave sugar after every meal and all day long. I feel like crap when I'm done eating it but it's a drug when I am eating it.…

Same here!! And I have tried a million ways to rationalize that I should be able to eat cake and cookies and bags of chips. It never works out for me. Ugh. I think everyone is different.

"Each of us has an inner dream that we can unfold if we will just have the courage to admit what it is. And the faith to trust our own admission. The admitting is often very difficult." Good fats! Kerrygold butter, coconut oil etc... I use them in my coffee in the am and I feel full and get enough calories. Bulletproof coffee http://www.bulletproofexec.com/how-to-make-your-coffee-bulletproof-and-your-morning-too/

Thanks!

That's awesome Naomi. I too am a sugar addict. I also have to think about it like an alcoholic. I went 5 months without any processed or natural sugar (honey palm sugar etc...) and then fell off the wagon for a few weeks. I'm back on but during that 5 months I was gluten/grain free but I found myself binging on fruit. I…

This is pretty much sums it up for me. Nursed 3 kids in a row over a 6 year span. Nursed them discreetly everywhere. Bottom line--in all things in life people have different opinions and who cares....do what you gotta do and let people who have a problem with it have their own problem with it. Wouldn't waste a second of…

I use the Bulletproof executives Upgraded MCT Oil. You can order it online by googling Bulletproof Executive. I use it in my Bullet Proof coffee. Grass fed butter, MCT oil, vanilla, Upgraded coffee beans. I love it. That's all I have until lunch. It's great.

I think a lot of people knew exactly what you meant. I applaud you for enjoying the other responses. Best of luck. You are very supported.

I'm on Day 70 without any sugar--meaning no processed foods or sugar, honey , agave, stevia etc.. No grains etc.. My biggest vice is just whole fruit now. The first week was the worst. I have done this before so I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. Tired, achey, headaches cranky!!! I was still craving sugar through Day21.…

I have Hashimotos. My doctors are messing with my Armour right now and I feel too tired to even write this post. I have been Hypo since I was 18 and had Hashi since my early 30s. Apparently, I don't know my own body and my doctors think "reference range" on a TSH only test is the way to dose my Armour. I was ok at first…

Same for me

Congratulations! You are such an inspiration! You and your story just made my day! Thank you!

I hear ya!! I'm back at it today. I can go for as long as 10 days and then get derailed. It's crazy because I feel awful after eating it. I love the moment but then I feel terrible. I love Monday mornings! No sugar. I have hope!!

Congratulations!! You look beautiful! I commend you for all the hard work you are doing and all the self love. You are such an inspiration!

Love this!!!! COMPASSION!!!! Everybody is at different points in their lives. I don't think life has to be an US against THEM thing. By posting inspiring, motivating, positive things--the "dieter" you hate may be curious as to why you are so happy eating the way you do. I am a healthy eater now--one who eats a lot and…

Also--just from my experience--all the GF foods at the store that are replicas of regular food are garbage. They might help people stick with it at first but in the long run there is so much junk in the food that it's like shooting yourself in the foot. Then again baby steps!!!! It's all good!

I would agree with mindyhenry74. I have Hashimoto's and was grain and GF for 6 months. I notice a change in 2-3 days as well and I finally had energy. I have been off the wagon for the past 2 weeks but have restarted today. Giving up coffee, sugar (honey and fruit included) and all dairy except for SCD yogurt. I just long…

Hi! I'm Cristi. I have been on The Specific Carbohydrate Diet for the past 6 months. (Which is basically paleo). Fallen off the wagon for the past week. Really paying for it. Rash, stomach problems, digestion issues etc... Looking forward to getting back at on the 2nd. I have Hashimoto's as well so I'm working around that…

WOW!!! You are absolutely stunning. Amazing job. Congrats on all your hard work.

Congratulations!! You look beautiful and radiate self confidence.

I believe we can only speak from our own experience. One person's truth or experience may not equal another person's. There are people who don't become addicted to drugs, alcohol, sex or whatever and tell other's who do that it's just a matter of will power. Every person has their issue even if it's perfectionism or…

I wish having a piece of fruit helped. I have wicked sugar cravings and for the past 6 months I haven't eaten any processed food. No candy or store bought anything. On SCD I can eat small amounts of honey and some fruit. Well--I can binge on FRUIT!!! I can end up throwing extra honey in homemade yogurt and then adding…

My thoughts---COMPASSION---people-including all of us judgmental people--are doing the best they can at the level they are at. If they could do better they would. Same goes for everyone wanting things to be different or the way they do it. Tolerance. I think we have enough problems living up to our own standards and not…

I would agree with making sure you replace them sooner. I have used both. I started with the Frees and then went to the Minimus. Got injured from putting on too many miles too quickly with the Minimus. I'm sticking with the Frees for now but I like the Minimus.
