I also have 4 kids so i know how things can get crazy! we often use the croc pot for busy sports nights or I buy a rotisserie chicken to pair with salad or rice/quinoa/beans/tortillas and veggies. As a last resort for fast food I opt for grilled chicken sandwiches without mayo or other sauces.

I'm also at 1200 calories without exercise. I'd say I average about 1400 per day, though. And if I know I'll be splurging on a particular day, I'll try to keep it at 1200 for the rest of the days that week

Me too!

I am a SAHM to kids (2, 4, 6, 8 years old) and have about 30lbs to lose. Feel free to add me!

I actually just cancelled my WW account because Freestyle doesn't work for me and I was having to make adjustments all the time just to get enough points per day since I eat a lot of "zero" point foods. So I was eating plenty of calories, but not meeting points goals. It got too frustrating for me, so I switched to MFP…

SAHM to 4 kids (7, 6, 3, almost 2 years old) and I have a similar story. I was in AMAZING shape as a personal trainer before baby #1 and kept up with it through my end pregnancy and then baby #3 changed it all. I stopped training and returned to a stressful job in social services and gained weight and rarely was active any…

Mom of 4 over here - 3 boys (ages 3, 6, 7 years) and 1 girl who is almost 2 years old.

So far I've lost 20lbs with about 30ish more to go!

I sometimes drink Premier Protein drinks (vanilla and chocolate are both good, IMO) if I'm super pressed for time and know it'll be a while until I can eat an actual meal (4 young kids, so it happens some days!). Or I'll drink one on the way to the gym if I haven't had time to eat breakfast yet but desperately need a break…

I'm 5'0" as well and always like more friends for support and to support!

First thing in the morning is preferred, but being a SAHM to 4 kids that doesn't always happen. So if we don't make it to the YMCA by 10am, then I use the kids nap time to get on my treadmill and/or do a workout video.

60-90 mins of actually working out in some capacity.

I love my Firbit Charge HR, but now o want to look at this Garmin one!
-
Add salsa to it and put on top of a salad in place of dressing. I love cottage cheese but I often use salsa and/or cottage cheese as "salad dressing" to up the protein content

SAHM to a 7, 5, 3, and 1 year old. I simply know what I want and stick to it. The kids all eat 5 times per day at the same time and that's it. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner. Food is only eaten at the table (unless we're out, of cours) - this makes it FAR less likely that I'll aimlessly graze throughout the day and…

My current goal is 115 lbs. Once I get closer to that (currently at 152), I'll re-evaluate and decide where I want to go.

We use Orgain and love it. Even my kids like the vanilla being added to their carrot, kale, orange, banana smoothies.
-
I like my fitbit
-
1200 is my goal (before exercise of course), I usually eat around 1200-1400
-
I do the same
-
1 of 2 rest days for me, but they're usually active rest days so I'll do yoga, pilates, walk, easy hike, etc.
-
You steps goal is higher than that, but I'm always active with my fitbit! [edited by mods]

This sounds perfect for me. I doubt I'll be exactly where I want by summer sine my goal is roughly 55lbs, but I'll be much more comfortable with you body than I am now! 10lbs down so far since January 1st

Mom of 4 - we have 3 boys ages 7, 5, 3 years and 1 girl who is 1 year old. NO MORE! Haha I've recently transitioned to the stay at home mom roll and will likely continue with this for the next few years. My husband and I were both working stressful jobs and we really weren't doing any of us any favors (except our wallets I…

@BrkNelson I'm also only 5' tall and I am convknced that it makes weight loss that much more difficult! But I try telling myself it's also easier to notice weight loss when it happens

I'm a SAHM to 4 children (ages 1, 3, 5, 7 years) and am looking to lose about 50 pounds total. So far I've lost 10 since starting this journey about a month ago. My workout goal is 5-6 days per week and so far I've been doing well with that!
