  • I was fine all day until about 3:30pm. That's when my husband decided that Papa Murphy's was dinner. I had to go and pick it up and bake it! Ugh. But once the pizzas were done my son left a cupboard door open and I smacked my head pretty good. Long story short, I spent the rest of the evening in bed with a killer headache.…
  • Hello, I'm Jen and today is my first DD. I just started and think this is going to be the only thing that helps me to actually lose weight. I know something is up with my thyroid, but my doctor says everything is fine. If that were true then I would be able to lose weight with the way I eat and exercise. A little back…
  • I think the only way you're really going to know how many calories you've burned is to get a heart rate monitor.
  • I think it's just my computer. I can see it now. I agree that too much sugar and not enough protein are the problems here. I am working on trying to add more protein to my life. Also trying to make myself eat more smaller meals instead of feasting on whatever seems to fall in front of me only three a day(who am I kidding…
  • We can only view your diary if we're your friend. Make your profile public. :)
  • Also mess around with the amount of water you add to it. I make it the way it says on the tube, but I add milk to it to make it runny/soupy.
  • I hated oatmeal for a very long time. A long story about how my father forced me to sit at the table and eat it. Even kept me home from school. Outrageous. Anyhoo. I LOVE oatmeal now. Sometimes it becomes more than one meal a day. I don't like the little packets of oatmeal. I buy the plain stuff and add whatever I feel…
  • I know that all restaurants go based on precooked/raw weight. Some meats weigh the same after being cooked and some don't. But if I were going to start weighing meat, I would weigh it before cooking it and log it that way.
  • I was in a size 12 when I met my husband, I would LOVE to be there again, but right now I'm shooting for 14's. Baby steps. Hoping to be in a size 9/10 by the end of the year.
  • 5'9" 220 size 16, though I can fit into 14's from Old Navy.
  • I can really see the difference! Awesome job! :)
  • I'm in the same boat. I'm a breast feeding mama who is always hungry (seriously I can eat whatever meal and then feel like I've gone days without food). I've been thinking about doing a protein powder, but I'm afraid of what will get passed to my babe through my milk.
  • It all depends on what I'm cleaning in my house. Everyday cleaning that happens no matter how much I work out or what I do or don't eat I don't log. But if I'm scrubbing the tub for an hour or am on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors, then I log that. Only because when I finish I am sweating as if I worked out for an…
  • Under the Food tab is a Recipe button. Click that and then to the right is a Enter New Recipe button. Click that and then add in all of your ingredients and how many serving of each you are using. :)
  • You are my husbands twin! His SW: 270 his CW: 245 his GW: 225 Height: 6'6" Age: 34

  • Aug 31: National Trail Mix day. Gross. I hate trail mix.
  • BTW, now I really want sardines... haha :)
  • I saw someone posted grilled with salt and pepper. That's how I cook them. And I'll put them on a salad or cut them up and make 'fish' tacos out of them. Those are the only ways I've ever had them. Good luck in your search! :D
  • Me too! If I feel like I don't want to get on, knowing that there are people checking up on me makes me feel like I NEED to workout and eat smaller portions. Adding you now. :)
  • My highest was 295. When I started MFP I was 236, now at 221. It's hard, but life isn't supposed to be easy. You can do it! :)
  • Oh wow! Well you got this! Just keep at it and exercising and you will drop the 15lbs. :) And if you need motivation, we're here to give it!
  • Thanks guys! :) We can and will do this!
  • I just give in to my cravings. I found that rather than fight the craving and eat something that I don't want, I will let myself eat half of whatever it is that I'm craving and it goes away. Plus I don't end up eating twice or snacking all day long. Everyone has a bad day. I haven't been at this long, but I think everyone…
  • In the Food tab it gives you a list of everything you've eaten that day and it tells you everything you've consumed included cals, carbs, fats, protein, fiber. And if you go to Settings in the Food tab you can choose which items you want to show in the online Food Diary. :)
  • My son does the same thing! haha And he'll start breathing heavily like he's working so hard to do everything I'm doing. lol
  • I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 6 month old. Finally decided to stop being lazy and work all my baby weight off! Gained 65lbs with my son and over 70lbs with my daughter. I had about 15lbs left to lose from my son when I got pregnant again. Now I have just over 40 to get rid of.
  • Losing weight while pregnant is NOT recommended. Eat healthy (and frequently) and do light exercise everyday (LIGHT exercise) and you will only gain between 15-25lbs, which is a healthy weight to gain. And if you breastfeed after you have the baby that will help you lose any of the weight that decides to stick around. I…
  • You can do it! :)
  • WOW! I love the support here!! You can do this Krystal!! I love you!!
