Sometimes it's a habit to "feel"full. Change your mind set,wait 10 minutes and see if the brain finally registers full. I am at this 3 1/2 years and I battle it everyday! I love to eat and I found low calorie foods that are pretty good. Best of luck!

I lost my weight following almost everything said in this article and I have kept it off for 2 1/2 years as well.Why the nasty comments from some of you? Thank you for sharing! I believe in her ideas.

I agree if you ate fast foods,cheesecake,ice cream,drank a few liters of cola,5000 calories would be and is probably for many attainable. After eating in a healthy way for two years,I don't think I would enjoy eating so much in a day.Maybe enjoying some of your favorites periodically would satisfy your cravings so you can avoid this type of day. Eat wisely and good luck.

Portion control,sugary and processed foods, and lack of movement are some reasons for overweight children and adults. I do them both just for variety. They both make you work the full thirty mins or so.Jillian says it's 20 mins but it's more like 30 with warmup.

Jillian Michaels has said that your body changes after the workouts and the time in between. I have been incorporating 2 rest days a week and I am seeing changes I think because I give my body time to repair and respond to the workouts.

I am sorry to say that at our age (i am 61) eating more does not work. Maybe the 20 yr olds can do that but we cannot. Rest days are needed and are good for you.She says it herself in the beginning of the DVD.My first times through I did them with only one day rest and now I have added another day when I will walk only to burn calories.My muscles need it.

This is my third time through the Ripped in 30 DVD and I also did the 30 Day Shred 2 times through. I do each week 5-6 times and then move on and then repeat. I see the difference in stamina and body as I go along. Love Jillian and the DVD's

Doing the 30 Day shred is probably making you use muscles you didn't know you had and you are retaining water due to muscle repair which is how the muscles repair themselves. I went back to Jillian's Ripped in thirty and I experienced some gain but quickly lost it by week's end. Don't give up!

I have many friends who believe that Chinese food is low calorie-NOT. I would go on the database and check out some foods you think might be there. I would eat fish,chicken-all not fried and veggies. I lost 46 lbs.eating complex carbs- fruit,vegetables- etc.I am never hungry and it has become my lifestyle now I plan on eating like this forever because I eat everything,I watch portions and stay away from sugars for the most part. I need to eat and this eating plan let's me eat.
