As far as hydration goes, you should be fine. As a kid, I never would drink water. Everything I drunk was Kool aid and soda. I never was dehydrated. It still never hurts drinking some pure water to help flush the systen.

I've recently made the swap to almond milk. I never thought I would like it, but I tend to prefer it now. I usually go with Silk Original or Blue Diamond Breeze. It is like 60 calories a serving. There is nothing wrong with normal milk, but after you get used to almond milk the other milk just seems to taste too fatty.

I just allow myself some chocolate everyday. I usually keep some Skinny Cows or Dark Chocolate M&Ms. I like M&Ms because it is easy to adjust your daily intake with them. If you only want 75 calories, it is simple to figure out how many you can have.

I'm cooking up some ribeyes and baked sweet potatoes. I had like 5 different turkey dinners for Thanksgiving (home, work, church, etc). My wife and I agreed that we are turkied out. It will likely be like 70 degrees here on Christmas anyway, so I'm breaking out the grill.

You might be able to find some ways to cut off a few calories here and there without him even noticing it. For instance, you may go with a leaner meat for the burgers. You can use a lower calorie cheese for the pizza and the burgers. Just little changes like that can make a big difference over the course of a 7 day week.

Just pinch the skin of the area that you think you have loose skin. If it is very thin, then it is likely loose skin.

It is going to be impossible to gain ONLY muscle. You will gain both muscle and fat. You are going to want to eat at a caloric surplus and, after you get the desired amount of muscle, cut back again and tone. And yeah, you really want to put the weight on if the doctor is telling you to.
