I think it may be that I went from being terribly unemployed and spending 3 hrs a day at the gym, to getting a new sedentary stressful job that pays $$ but takes up a lot of my time. I work out 6 days a week, but not to the degree that I used to. And I think I have been channeling my stress and anxiety fatty comfort foods.

Made it! 40 mins cardio and an hour to lift. Tomorrow the battle starts again.

I agree. Spinning can be rough on the knees. Especially if you are not using enough resistance or too much and standing out of the saddle. I had knee tendinitis and spinning definitely made it worse. I took a break from my normal class until it healed.

He seems to think that steak and bacon are hugely important. Along with veggies that are not potatoes (which I am way onto). Unrelated responses do seem like a good idea. But I'd really like to let him know how annoying he is.

This is a great idea thanks!

Creeeeeepy. I was just thinking about researching a recipe for this exact thing! Looks great!

I just got a heart rate monitor with a chest strap to measure caloric burn. I love it. And I think the numbers are more realistic (but sadly lower) than the MFP or machine calculations. I was stuck on a long plateau and have finally started to see some downward motion on the scale since I started to use it. I got a lower…

I would say give it a try but stop if you feel pain. I tried running again after a long break and it didn't work for me. But I am happier to know than to just wonder. For me I cant usually tell if I have messed up something until the next day.

Close to the story as in there are zombies and a guy named Rick. :) Its pretty different.

Be careful and see a doc before you go nuts. When I had my injury I did not realize how badly I was hurt and continued to run on it. I had a bone fragments in my hip that proceeded to shred my cartilage away. Its called a labral tear. It sucks!
-
I was in a car accident several years ago and had to have hip surgery. I have about 25% of the cartilage left in my hip. I am a couple years out from surgery and was getting really strong and figured I would train for a 10k. I got really really bad tendinitis (like I couldn't even walk). It still comes back all time time.…

Moving comfort did not work for me AT ALL. I wear a G cup though. Have you ever been professionally measured? It will change your life. For real! I used to wear a 38DDD and now wear a 34G. I like Anita sports bras a lot.
-
I have! I even have an autographed one I am that much of a nerd!

I wear a 34G/H. I like the Anita line of bras: http://www.herroom.com/anita-5527-molded-sports-bra.shtml?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=csse&utm_campaign=googlebase&utm_content=Anit01-5527 Moving comfort bras are crap. They say they come in larger cup sizes but they are not good at all in my opinion.

I'm no vegan, but I do love vegan and veg food. Bring on the Tempeh! I never had a burger in my life til I was 21. Add me if you'd like.

Wow! You look wonderful! Congrats!

very cool!

I LOVE the stuff. I put it on popcorn and sprinkle on veggies and rice. I make a great veggie risotto with it and use it in place of some of the cheese.

I don't have pics. But I love spinning. I have seen great results. Also I lost over an inch in my calves since I have gotten into it. I know some people are worried about bulking up. L

The first time I ever went to a gym class about 9 years ago I was SO SO SO completely out of shape that I had to take a break from the class because I was seeing stars and could not walk for literally a week after. I was mortified. But now that I have been taking classes a lot more regularly now I realize that I am really…

Exercise is hard work! It feels hard, it makes you sweat and if you did it right you feel sore after. However, I think a lot of the time its easy to over-estimate how many calories you actually burned. I think the approximated burn numbers are a bit high for me here, so I have some of them back if I am hungry still. I want…

I have never had a fast food burger in all of my 33 years, I had some nuggets once about 5 years ago and actually vomited. I am also one of the cheapest mo-fos around these days because of my budget. I work 14-16 hour days. I cook all my own food. I shop on sale. Buy less expensive protein sources eggs, beans, tofu. I make…

Same thing happened to me last week.... I really don't get it.
