So, I burned 2,000 calories in the past 2 days and this morning the scale said I gained a pound. HOW/WHY IS THAT???! One workout was jumping rope and the other was a boxing type workout I made up where I held weights in my hands and threw punches. (sore from that one right now.)

    Your muscles are sore.

    They are repairing.

    They need water to repair.

    You are holding that water.

Ergo, you gain a pound. That's it! :)

hard to tell because you aren't tracking your food and water :( may not have to do with exercise or it could be you burned a lot of calories but you didn't eat enough of them back

Why are you so annoyed about one pound!??

You could go to the toilet today and lose it again lol

    Its so trivial!

Also, start taking measurements if you haven't already.

I would have to say water too, you shocked your body a bit, and it held onto some water...it will be gone by tomorrow

you will be fine... your body just worked out really hard and was grasping onto anything in the body... you will take a piss and most likely all of it will go... no worries

    Weight loss is not linear.

    Don't weigh in everyday.

You're body doesn't loose weight instantly just because you have a calorie deficit. Additionally as others mentioned, with that much exercise in a couple days your body is probably holding additional water. Give it a day or two and weigh again and you will likely be happier with the results.
