  • I'm not one to "dump" my friends. Honestly, I don't have time to "monitor" my friends activity on here. Life outside of MFP keeps me on my toes. I did take a break from MFP for about six months. It wasn't that I fell off the wagon, I was still working my butt off in the gym and making healthy choices, I just didn't have…
  • I'm Kerry- Divorced mom of a 16 year old daughter. I lost 75lbs back in 2003, but have gained about 15lbs of it back. I am looking to get rid of that and some.....I am looking to meet new people and gain support/motivation here!!! Please feel free to add me!!! :flowerforyou:
  • I tried to "Cut" my alcohol level down....and now I've quit drinking altogether....I've gone 51 days with no alcohol....it's made it easier to make healthier choices.....I used to coordinate my drink with my food...if that makes sense...Beer......and hot wings.....or nachos........Margarita with Mexican cheese dip, and…
  • I have to have gum anytime I do cardio! I've found it keeps my mouth from getting dry, and I don't have to drink as much water....thus stopping mid-workout to go to the bathroom! Plus.....it takes my mind off the workout...in a sense...maybe it is weird...but if it gets me through a workout, I'm all for it!
  • This is a GREAT idea! I've never even thought about these! I did get a little sad the other night, when I took my shoes off after a run, and I was just noticing all of the bubbled skin on the bottoms of my feet and around the sides...and of course, my lil missing toenail...but I have to say, the feeling I get when I'm…
  • I TOTALLY agree with this statement! I also understand that it's difficult to stay on track when you have kids; however when I became a single mother, with limited income, I decided to quit buying sweets and junk food altogether. I've tried to incorporate healthy eating as a household with better options. Why not teach…
  • My pic is a FB pic... :ohwell: is that bad? Maybe I should ignite a MFP photoshoot......:glasses:
  • I understand what you are talking about.....I lost the bulk of my weight (75lbs) from weight watchers. Since I've been on MFP, I have caught myself going to my WW points calculator to see exactly how many "points" I'm consuming in a day! One thing I've "tried" to do, is stick with natural foods, like fresh fruits and…
  • How in the world can you become "unmotivated" after losing 70lbs?! You have had GREAT success! I know it's easy to get burned out, but you are surrounded by lots of folks here at MFP who are cheering you on! Keep up the hard work! *Btw-is that a Westie in the second picture on your profile?
  • Hello, Sarah! I'm not a Texan :frown: but I'm relatively new to this site, and I am always looking to meet new folks to share weightloss tips, and exercise methods etc...just support. Feel free to add me, if you'd like!

  • Tomorrow is another day! Pick yourself up and start over tomorrow!! I've never smoked, so I can't give any advice on kicking the habit without going insane...but try not to beat yourself up over today's situation. Getting on the healthy track takes one day at a time....This past week, I've discovered that upping my water…

  • Thanks for all of the replies! I GREATLY appreciate it! You guys have given me several different options! I didn't get professionally fitted, but now that my feet are in such pain, I'm regretting that I didn't! Tonight while out, I did purchase some running socks and I picked up a Dr. Scholl's anti slide stick. Right now,…
  • Hi Lynnie! You CAN do it! :) Feel free to add me, if you'd like and we can motivate each other!
