It took me a few minutes to figure out what you were talking about. It's been a long day. lol

I've done low carb for years. Lost 120+ lbs and kept it off for years. Fell off the wagon, and now it's time to do it again. Feel free to add!

Make sure calories are high enough and getting enough fat. If you're just starting it might take 1-2 weeks to fully adjust

Welcome Steve. You might be able to find the old DVD's from back in the day when it was YRG (Yoga for Regular Guys) on ebay for cheap ;) That'd definitely get you started!

I personally prefer Atkins over South Beach. I feel better and have more predictable weight loss. I'll give more info after a while. And tonight when I get home I'll give ya some recipes I love.

That app is fantastic! I love it.

IMO, keto is perfectly fine. The only reason I'm not doing ketosis is because I'm doing P90X, which can be pretty physically demanding. And even though my percentage of calories from carbs is low (less than 10%), because my calories are higher it keeps me out of a steady state of ketosis. That's the only reason.

I'm in this category. Anyone is free to add me. I'd love to hear from people in the same boat as I am.

You'll have a blast. I did Warrior Dash last year, and would love to do it again. It's a ball. Just train smart, take your time at the course as far as obstacles go, and you'll do fine!

Agreed!

I agree with the others. You might get smaller, but you won't get toned or defined. Body transformation is a lot more than just "losing weight". Its about a change in body composition. I've seen big pear shaped people lose weight through nothing but low calories and cardio. But they ended up looking like smaller pears.

I would do Crossfit if I had a Crossfit gym near by. The workouts are great, but it's the community aspect that is the great aspect. Don't be intimidated, those people that you see in the videos are just the spearhead of the Crossfit community. And trust me, every workout can be scaled down to your abilities.

Robb Wolf's Paleo Solution book has a 30 day meal plan. Maybe that would help.

I'll join! Heck yeah. Tomorrow started at 308.4. Today is 306.7

Did Fat Burner today. Today was day 2 of my P90X-DDP Yoga Hybrid. It was a great workout to help work through the soreness from yesterday but still get a good sweat in.

If you're only a pound from your goal, why keep up with journal? By now you've established your routine. You know what's good for you and how much. Keeping a food journal is great for when you need to establish habits and have a good amount of weight to lose (or in something like contest prep). But to do it everyday for…
