  • Woohoo! That is my hope for this year.
  • Barbara, for me I had to change the way I was eating even though I have been following my diet. I had to change the times of the day that I took in my protein.

  • You can add me :) Love mine!
  • Wow according to my TDEE I am suppose to be eating 1935.2 calories a day to maintain my current weight with moderate exercise. My Bootcamp is intense and I am overweight so I am thinking 1200 is not where I should be!!!
  • I have requested a different nutrionalist as they may or may not make our appointment date/time which means a wasted hour long round trip for me. I am on the list to get a new one. I try to eat protein with every meal but maybe that is what is going on!
  • I like the Body by Vi as it is the only one that I can stand the taste and it helps even out my blood glucose levels. I am using it as a supplement not as a meal replacement. I know several people who are and have had great success!
  • I can not say my weight loss has been from Vi but I usually only due 1 a day. I do however have coworkers who are working the challenge program and doing awesome! My reason to use it is I am a diabetic who hates to eat first thing in the morning and work 62 miles from my home. I drink one on the way to work and it helps…
  • I love PB2. Thanks for the website info! I go thru about a jar every 1.5 weeks in my smoothies.
  • I love my Fitbit and support is wonderful! I wear it pretty much all the time. The free site gives me enough information that I have to ventured to the paid site. It pairs up nicely with MFP. I would highly recommend it!
  • I use Body by Vi Shake Mix and Chocolate Mix in during the work week for breakfast and once in a very great while as dinner. I am a diabetic and sometimes don't manage my time well so it is great to throw the mix, fruit and some almond milk in the blender with my flax seed and I have my protein plus a filling meal that I…
  • I pay $100 a month for bootcamp. I can go up to 6 days a week and they offer 3 classes everyday but Saturday is only 1. If I go every day available it is just over $4.00 a workout :)
  • Awesome! Thanks! I forget about the "Dummy" books but love them!
  • I'm in but won't promise anything! You CAN do this girl!
  • I have her 30 day shred, her one for the Wii and one other but can not remember the name right now!
  • Love it! If you decide to order one, use this link. It is $10 off. https://www.fitbit.com/corp/order/loseit?userPromoCode=B4o7LiLPMmYR
  • The first one is the 1st generation. The Ultra is their new version that recently came out. With the Ultra, you can track sleep; has a stop watch; tracks floors climbed for stairs; and you can control what displays. I have the Ultra and love it but can not compare it with G1 as I never owned that one.
  • I usually have a scoop of Body by Vi Shake in the morning in my coffee and a protein shake on the way home before I go to bootcamp. I was having issues with dizziness and nausea before I started drinking one before class. Works great! I use it to supplement my diet, not replace it. I am a diabetic and do not experience…
  • I am a diabetic too and joined MFP and a local Bootcamp to start controlling it better. My last DR's apt in August was terrible and I left feeling like "why bother" then I got angry. What type are you? Are you trying to do this all on your own? Is your weight under control or out of control like mine? Feel free to send me…
  • I am a diabetic and use protein powder usually in a shake about 30 to 45 minutes prior to my Bootcamp class to help me not crash my blood sugar levels and give me a little boost. I researched a lot prior to choosing one. Some are not great for you. I agree with others that it is best not to replace a meal but if you…
  • - what kind of build are you? Small but you would never know it! - how much do you currently weigh and what size pants on average do you wear? 192 size 16 - what is your goal weight and why? 135 and to be off my medications, to feel better, have more strength and enjoy life more! - how old are you (if you don't mind…
  • Neither including a FITBIT monitors Heart Rate. I have a FITBIT and love it. It will not record HR but monitors your sleep if you were it at night.
  • Crap just now seeing this thread. Is it too late?
  • My mother-in-law told me one time she didn't like fat people because they are lazy and have no self control. She was talking about her MIL at the time but I know it was directed at me too. She is a 30 year ICU nurse who knows I have diabetes and every time she has us over for dinner she serves nothing but HIGH carb & sugar…
  • I agree with the yak track vote. They are awesome. Do NOT buy the cheap imitation ones though!
  • Just plain laziness, ignoring the mirror, and pretending it didn't matter. Now I am fat, motivated, and realizing my health is going to heck because I ignored it to long!
  • So people where I work did this. Two got sick before the end of the 6 days and quit. Of the remaining 3 all gained back the weight they lost plus within a few days of ending.
  • Welcome back! Best of luck :) This website is awesome and the support is out of this world :)
  • Wow! That is so awesome! I am a type 2 that just started the program.
