I've lost 20 pounds in 3 months by simply following MyFitnessPal and the 500 calorie reduction. 20 pounds at 3 months = 80 pounds at 12 months, if I had that much to lose. The changes you can feel and see are more important than that little number on the scale.

Just a day that your calorie intake is significantly higher than you're used to. For example, my calorie goal is 1870 a day. I would consider a day I eat 2500 calories to be a spike day.

I think I saw the phrase "I'm in the same boat" about 20 times, and I can say the same thing. Nothing else I can really add that'll add to anything, but I can vouch for the "drink tons of water" as that works for me. Gets you up and walking (to the bathroom) whether you want to or not!

You just check whichever items you want then click the green "Add Checked" button right above or below the check boxes.

When you're adding a meal to you diary, hit "Add Food" then go to the "My Meals" tab and check your meal. Easy!

Diet Coke, Diet Mt. Dew, Diet Dr. Pepper, Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. Any restaurant that serves Diet Mt. Dew and/or Diet Dr. Pepper is a favorite of mine. Although since I started I've tried to cut down my cola drinking. Probably down to 3-4 drinks a week, which is fine for me.

Dude! Great job! I'm in a similar boat. Currently at 217 now, looking to drop to 180. If you got those results in 90 days, while doing a 500 calorie deficit and cardio, I feel good about my chances. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! You're ok - if you're full, don't worry about it too much. May want to eat a little more if you're going to work out hard like that. If you're hungry, you have some calories to spare. You're just consuming enough to fuel your body.
