Thanks you everyone for the wonderful advice! I think I'm going to try the brisket, sauce on the side, with baked beans. I might bring some carrot slices with me to round out my meal! BBQ, here I come! (It's from Hog Wild Pit BBQ in Wichita, Kansas, BTW.)

Love the cookbook! I've tried a few things...butternut sqush french fries...who would have thought?! And the onion rings are made with Fiber One cereal...Yummy!

Congrats! Isn't it an amazing feeling?! I'm 1/2 lb. away from 20 lbs. lost in 10 weeks! Losing some has definitely given me the motivation to lose the rest! :smile:

I did this last week...and they thought I was crazy! The waiter told me "I'll box up whatever you don't finish at the end"...I almost had to tackle him to get the to-go box! But, finally, he gave in! Thanks for sharing! :smile:

Last night I made french fries with butternut squash! They were amazing! I also tried the onion rings...I will double the recipe, and add more seasoning next time, but they turned out great, too! I ordered the book from Amazon...can't wait for it to arrive! :smile:

Isn't it wonderful?! I was shopping last week, and saw some cute capris...they didn't have my size (12), but they had a 10...the 10 fit perfectly!!! I couldn't believe it! I'm a 10 now! Wow! :happy:

I bought the Latin one, but I couldn't seem to learn the steps! Does it get easier with time? I've only tried it once, but I got really frustrated half-way through, and haven't tried it since! :sad:

I just checked out a Hungry Girl cookbook at the library and I love it! I marked so many pages that it would probably be cheaper to buy the book than to copy all the pages! :laugh: The recipes are down-to-earth, and basically low-fat versions of everything I love! I have to check out the website now! Thanks for sharing.

Hi! I'm getting ready for a road trip over Spring Break, and I'm getting nervous. Not only will I be eating out for a week, I'll be in the car munching, too. So, I was wondering, does anyone have any great ideas for snacks in the car? I can only eat so many pretzels! Thanks! :smile:

I found out that the weight control kind has even less sugar! It's hard to not have too much sugar in your diet, especially if you drink milk, and eat yogurt and flavored oatmeal!

I, too have a problem with sodium intake. Today I'm going to be at least 500 over! But I'm going to try drinking more water to make up for it. I also am watching the new foods that I buy...no salt added tomatoes and veggies, and no more packaged rice mixes...they're outrageously high!
