Amazing progress!

I'll go as far as to say I hated it! Perhaps that's too strong *hmm ponders* nope, definitely hate!! I think for a beginner the actual workout is to advanced and way way way too long. In the end on my yoga days I just went to the gym instead.

No this is exactly how strength training should be. Do your first two sets, then on the third set do the max amount of reps you can. As you get stronger you'll end up doing more reps in the last set. That's when you know it's time to up the weights again. You're not really getting any benefit if each set is easy.

You can look at this two ways. If you're gonna eat something then beat yourself up over it and maybe snowball into a day of bad eating, chaos and world destruction then avoid it like the plague. Drink some water, go for a run [insert random distraction tactics]. OR you can look at it like real life. Will you never eat a…

In my face. But if I had a choice I'd suck it all from my belly and pump it in my butt.

I don't have 'cheat' days at it just seems like a negative way of looking at things. To cheat means you're doing something wrong. Each day of my week is pretty much the same. I don't deny myself any foods because I know as soon as I decide I can't have something I will want it. That may sound weak to some people but I'm…

The only way you're gonna get close to an accurate figure is to use a HRM. Then all you need to do is create your own exercise in the database. Honestly you'll be shocked at how badly MFP over estimates calories burned.

I'm from the UK too and the only thing I measure in cups is my water intake as that's easy to convert. I've never understood why you'd measure anything other than liquid in cups! When searching for food usually there's more than one option listed so grab some scales and hopefully you can find something logged in grams or…

I recently had one of those 'fat/want to give up trying' days plus my 44th birthday was fast approaching. But after finding an old photo and making a before and after collage I realised what a big difference I've made. I'm only 32lbs down so far but its taken years off my face. That's now picture is my motivation to keep…

44 this month and never felt better. Oh and just for the record.....I'm gonna kick *kitten* this year

Calories burned on mfp is only an guesstimate anyway so if you are really concerned about getting the correct number then the best thing to do is invest in a heart rate monitor (although even that isn't a 100%). MFP is a free tool, I think people expect too much.
