I'd get some peanut butter if I were you. It's really addicting and very calorie dense, my only advice would be to check the packaging and make sure it isn't loaded with artificial sugars, there are some very good peanut butters out there. In any case a few tablespoons should put you where you should be and if you pair it…

I'm trying to lose 30 in the next two months before my 22nd birthday, it probably won't happen, but it's something to focus on for now.
-
I feel the same way! It's like I can't get all of them in without eating either crap that's bad for me or a TON of healthy food. I find myself eating at least every 2 hours just to make it work!

I feel you on this one, although I think it might be slightly different for girls. I know that whenever my friends tell me not to lose more weight (even though I'm still overweight!) it's a jealousy issue. I know that it sounds conceited but I swear it's true! I even had one "friend" tell me I looked better fat! It's crazy…

I weigh myself neurotically (yes, I know, shame on me!) and my weight fluctuates as well. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I completely agree I saw it yesterday and thought the same thing!
-
Ouch, 4th really did a number on my weight loss yesterday. I'll be paying for it all this week lol, hoping to see a loss of anything after yesterday.

I love the chocolate kelloggs fiber bars, they have 120 calories and always fix my sweet tooth

If your sleep schedule is off it can really mess with weight loss. Make sure you go to bed at a reasonable time and stop all food at least 2 hours before bedtime. If you're doing that, then I'd go with what everyone else is saying and up your cals. You might gain a pound the first week or so while your body adjusts, but…

Hey team, I know that this probably isn't the best logo but I figured it would do until we could come up with something better. Can't wait to weigh tomorrow, good luck! EDIT: Just realized how large that is, here's a smaller version

I'd love to join, I always join things/start programs and never follow through, here's hoping that this time is different! Name: Kera CW: 174 GW for July 31st: 160 Poison: 30 Day Shred

Lol I'm the same way, but I'm an either or kind of girl. It's like ok I'll go until I've burned 300 calories OR until I've hit 3 miles OR until I've hit 30min, sometimes after I hit one I'll continue to the next depending on how I'm feeling I'll either stop earlier or later :)
-
Just finished the first day, not as bad as I thought it would be! @curlyelm of course, you can join whenever, I completely understand that everyone has different schedules
-
My measurements before starting are: Chest: 40 Waist: 32 Hips: 45 Weight: 172 Hopefully the shred will help with some of those inches lol, I know it's late but I'm about to start the first workout of level 1. Good luck to everyone!

It's about 9 or 10 dollars at walmart, calories depend on your weight but most people burn anywhere from 100-250 calories per workout (it's only about 20 minutes long), and people do get great results from what I've seen. All you need is a set of hand weights and you're ready to go. I just started it myself, the first day…

I'm not claiming to know everything (or even close to it) about the science here, but supposedly this only applies to people who aren't considered obese by their BMI's. I think it's because the body can readily draw on fat stores and doesn't panic nearly as much as it would if a skinnier person (think just overweight, not…

I could not agree with you more, another thing that really irks me? The concept of cheat days. You hit the nail on the head when you said it was common sense to allow a little thing here or there, because that's sustainable and indicative of a life change (I'm preaching to the choir I know (: )but a whole day is just…

I'll be a junior next year, majoring in chemistry feel free to add me too :)

Congrats on your success, you'll keep seeing changes and soon you'll be right where you want to be :) Also, love your pic, don't really see a lot of Doctor Who fans on mfp lol

Just weighed this morning and I'm at 170.8lbs, not sure if the little extra is from Easter (I tried to be good lol) or my upcoming TOM but hopefully I'll drop before next Monday :)

Count me in!

While you can lose weight eating junk all the time, you're going to be limiting yourself to only a little food (for the calories in a single cheeseburger, you could eat multiple other things in larger portions that are better for you and fill you up longer) which can lead to binging and when you go off of your diet because…

I'm not sure if this will answer your question, but what you're describing occurs due to insulin spikes. This happens when massive amounts of sugar enter your body at once, to prevent this, you should eat small meals often to keep your blood sugar levels and insulin levels stable to prevent those spikes. Otherwise it's up…

It could be that your calorie intake is too low, maybe you're not sleeping enough? Anyways, I know that you said you didn't want to blame the pills, but I just stopped taking mine (aviane, side effects just weren't worth it) and in the last couple of days I've dropped almost 2 pounds after 2 months of nada (the only 2…

When I gave up soda it wasn't something that I was trying to do, it just kind of happened. I just started drinking a lot more water, if you give up soda for a few days and only drink water your system will get used to it. Every now and again (like every month or every other month or so) I'll have a sip of soda just because…

You look AMAZING! and I love those boots btw lol, keep up the great work!
