  • Netflix is offering offline streaming starting today. Are you sure tv is not an option? TV helps me. I watch all the trashy shows my partner refuses to be subjected to at home (i.e. Vanderpump Rules!) Audio books and podcasts that I only listen to during my runs are good motivators, too.

  • Before pregnancy: 149lbs At 42 weeks pregnant: 195lbs Total gain: 46lbs 5 week post partum: 166.8lbs Loss so far: 28.2lbs Most of that flew off at around 2 weeks post partum. Now it's coming off really really slowly.
  • I'm up about 43lbs. I only wanted to gain 35lbs total, but these last few weeks I have been gaining so quickly, about 2lbs a week. And around 36 weeks I jumped up by like 8lbs! I feel like that is when I started to become super swollen. My due date is Wednesday, so I hope she comes out before I gain anymore!!
  • I am hoping that breastfeeding and walking all over town will help me to shed most of the pounds. I am moving soon and there will be a ymca within walking distance of my new house. So, hopefully I will be able to start some gym workouts once I'm up to it. And swimming!!

  • I had my second appointment today. My doctor couldn't find the baby's heartbeat with the doppler, so she did an ultrasound. Oh my goodness! The bean looks like an actual baby now! It looked like it had its hands up behind its head in a lounging position and it was kicking its legs like crazy! So wiggly!
  • SW: 149 4 weeks: I almost immediately jumped up to 152 after finding out I was pregnant. 8 weeks: At my first appointment, I weighed 155. 11 weeks: I'm still around 155... 6lbs, not thrilled.
  • I have been eating a ton of veggie sushi. Avocado rolls, sweet potato tempura rolls, and the cooked eel rolls too. I couldn't give up sushi altogether!
  • I think the fact that nobody knows I am pregnant yet is making it worse, too. I just feel like everyone must think I am getting so fat!
  • The other day I was complaining about feeling fat and my boyfriend said, "If you don't like how you feel, do something about it!" And I cried. Do what? Diet and exercise? I feel tired and sick every day! And I doubt that would even help this crazy bloating that has been with me for months now.
