On some occasions I take my greyhound with me, I must say I prefer the invisible dog. Invisible dog doesn't have to stop and sniff everything, and best of all NO Clean up after invisible dog!

Don't be scared! Look at it this way: No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everyone on the couch!!! Even if you were to come in last, you are doing something for your health! Go for it!

I love walking. The only equipment you need is a decent pair of shoes. You can go anywhere! I have a loop that I like to do, about 60 minutes, and a few out and back routes. I put the head phones on, crank up the music and off I go. We also have several parks in our area that have nice trails and on the weekends we'll go…

Queeny Park in West St. Louis County is one of our favorite walking places. Lots of trails, some paved, hills. Another favorite a little further out is Hawn State Park in Sainte Genevive County. Also like Pere Marquette in the Alton, IL area. Just did an 8 mile Hawn hike this past weekend. Beautiful!

I started January 3rd at 195, I've lost 21 lbs and weighed in at 174 this week. Almost halfway to my goal!

Find something you like, start out slow. 10-15 minutes for the first few times. Each time add a few minutes. Before you know it you'll be doing the exercise for an hour and wonder where the time went. Stick with it, even when you don't feel like exercising, DO IT! Good Luck!

That is SO COOL! Way to GO!! You must be so proud, what a fantastic accomplishment!

Hang in there and keep heading for YOUR goal! You are loosing weight for YOU not anybody else! Way to go on loosing 100 lbs so far!

I started out going from NO exercises to a goal of doing 30 minutes of something. Walking, elliptical, or the Wii. Now 7 weeks later my workouts are at a minimum of 30 minutes to an hour plus on the weekends! Like others have posted, do what you can and each time add a little to it. After awhile you'll be amazed at what…
