Try using the things that "piss you off" to motivate you for a power walk. Walking is just putting one foot in front of the other. Slow or fast it doesn't matter, what matters is that you get out and walk. I like to vary my routes too, variety is nice.

I swim as part of my triathlon training. What keeps me motivated are creating different workouts and group swims. We have a tri-club that swims together once a week with a coach giving us the workouts and offering stroke technique. The boxing is great! I joined Title Boxing almost a year ago and I love it! When I've had a bad day at work, I take it out on the bag. Go home stress free! Walking is another good option. Good luck!

1.4 is a good loss. Go to the grocery store, pick up a 1 pound package of something. THAT is what you WERE carrying around, but not any more. Good luck! You can do this.

Not any more! Love my workouts! Elliptical, weights, walking outside when the weather isn't 105 degrees!

Set an achievable goal. Meet that goal a few times then build on if. If your goal is to walk/run 1 mile do that then add a little more each time. I started with a mile or two in January, now I average 4 -6 miles on my walks. Mix your workout up. Walk, Elliptical, Bike, Rowing machine. Try different things on your workouts.…
