I could use the support

Congratulations!! That's amazing!

I agree that food is just food. So long as you're enjoying yourself, and fully aware, that's all that matters. I did, personally, have to cut some things out for a period of time so that I could get out of habit, but I was able to slow reintroduce it and was much better at controlling my portions

HEB Houston blend.. has real coconut flakes in it.. it smells amazing!!
-
Kay's protein chips!
-
I think it's definitely doable. With working out and eating back those calories. I'm struggling to do 1500 though, so there's that..
-
Oh, cool. There's a Walmart across the street from the house.
-
As I'm coming to find out. Thanks for your input
-
Okay, that's wildly helpful. Scale suggestions? (preferably on amazon.com)
-
how much protein would that equal My current goal is 76
-
Depends. I try to find "cheats". I crave chips a lot and I found some low cal/high protein chips that I eat during those times. For a burger craving I'd probably do a turkey patty with no bread
-
No, my food is usually straight forward. ..ooh, except dinners.. do you think one meal can be the culpret? It's the only meal that I can't scan/log exacts.
-
OBLIQUES.

Rude of the sister.. the friend, on the other hand, I would take it as a comment. It seems like she was commenting on how well you're doing and how much weight you've lost? I can see your points..but silver lining and all.

I'm 5'3" - I started at 204 lbs and now weight 157. Food is everything. Make sure you're feeding yourself correctly and keep your exercising changing. Don't keep doing the same thing over and over
-
You'll lose just like you will with any cardio. It's not the best for toning, but it's a great way to get your heart pumping and your legs going. It should not be your *only* work out, but it is definitely a great asset
-
This. not even kind of. I've lost damn near 30 lbs, 3 pant sizes, and they haven't changed AT ALL.
-
I eat about an hour before I work out (something with protein) and a banana after I'm done
-
this

He was wrong to ask her to look her best. He could have easily brought up that the ex would be there and she would have made those efforts on her own.
-
Thanks, all!
-
Thanks everyone!
-
Eh, I married someone who's my polar opposite. Sometimes it just works
-
put a bicycle in the living room and watch tv with him while you're working out. talk to him about this and find the happy medium.
-
No, No. I quite frequently hear people use "well, we're all going to die anyway" as an excuse for their bad habits, ie. smoking, drinking, etc. My only point was regardless of the fact that each individual will at one point die, that doesn't mean one should help the process
-
Yeah, I'm gonna die, no doubt, but that doesn't mean i have to hate myself in the mean time.
-
Awesome - Thanks!
-
Nobody?
-
I completely agree with this.

I want the instructor to be having fun. If you don't like it, how are we supposed to? I know one zumba instructor that is overweight, and he is by far the most exciting one! He tries as hard as we do and puts in just as much effort. It makes us equal. I have another instructor that is gorgeous and fit, I like her class…
