I’ve been doing 23:1 or 22:2 for about 4 months. I follow a lower carb diet because I’m type 2. It took me about 2-3 weeks to fully adjust. Generally, I only ate two large meals a day anyway (I don’t eat breakfast) so the transition wasn’t bad. I made up for hunger pains by drinking water and electrolytes. Now I eat at…

Your electrolytes might be off. Try drinking pickle juice or broth. You need to up your sodium/potassium intake. For sweets, I usually get a Premier Protein shake or eat a quest bar. The net carbs are real low on those.

My best friend is on her 2nd one and loves it. She's had no issues other than the discomfort when they inserted it. My advice from her experience is to not let the med resident do it. :D She's 31 also, 1 child. She only gets 2 periods a year since she's had it. Not sure if that's normal with the IUD but she doesn't…

I sit in front of a computer all day. I eat every 2 hours or so. Be smart on your snacks. You can eat a ton of veggies as a snack with dip and not use up too much of your alotted calories. String cheese, yogurt, a handful of mixed nuts, dried fruits...

When my grandma died, I asked my colleague who was heading out to the store to grab me a pack of peanut butter m&ms. He, being the sweetheart that he is, brought me the XXL bag of peanut butter m&ms. I ate the entire thing in a day. From there, stress-eating was born. Only once in the last 6 months have I sat down and…

I'm boring. Two hard-boiled eggs and a granola bar or dried fruit for snackage between eggs and lunch.

I will say that if you are used to eating a large amount of carbs and cut them cold turkey, you're going to have about a week or so of adjustment. I went from 200+ to 50+/- and got REALLY dizzy if I spaced my meals too far. Keep a quest bar or something for a little pick-me-up if you start feeling gross and can't get to…

Look into low carb, high fat. I'm prediabetic and try to minimize my carbs. Your doc should have given you guidelines but I know when I was pregnant (7 years ago and a gestational diabetic), I was alotted 25 carbs for breakfast, 30 for lunch, and 40 for dinner. It was reasonable considering the amount of carbs I WAS…

I'm still here! Currently drinking a hot cup of joe on one side of the couch while husband watches John Wick on the other side.

I sent my kid to school with a GRANOLA BAR. A Quaker Chocolate Chip GRANOLA BAR and he was told he couldn't eat it because it wasn't a healthy snack because of the sugar content. I told the school that until they buy my groceries and rush my 3 kids out the door in the mornings, it's none of their business how I raise my…

Everyone is different. I tend to eat every 2 hours. If I wait until I'm hungry, I usually end up binge eating.

Get a packet of Campbells chicken marsala sauce. Simmer. Delicious!

I eat every couple hours. I also try and eat foods higher in protein as that is what keeps me full. Greek yogurts, string cheese. Also, light calorie snacks. Not the prepacked junk. I'm talking bags of carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes... Things you can eat a ton of but not get hit hard in the calorie dept.

Feel free to add me! I'm a working mom with 3 kids (7, 5 and 5). I have about 50 to lose. I've done 4 half marathons (like a turtle), but I did them. I have one in April that I'm trying to drop some weight and train for.

I could see doing a half in 12 weeks... But a full? Eek. Good luck.

My girl Lady, who turns 18 this year. She's a whippet terrier mutt of some sort. My big boy Bo who just turned 3. He's a red-nosed pit, yellow lab, and we're not sure what else. My best dogs have all been mutts. I'd love a german shepherd BUT don't know that I could handle the longer fur with my allergies.

Lately I feel like my purpose is to have crazy sh&t happen to me so I can go on and explain/counsel others with my experience.

I'm just going to need to live forever. mmmk? If doing a closed casket, do you HAVE to be embalmed? Honestly, out of the whole process, injecting me with a bunch of stuff and draining my blood is horrifying. Yes, I'm dead...but anyway. I just want to be shoved in a box with a closed casket funeral. Can I forego embalming?…

We got the Vivofit Jr. He/we love it BUT the damn band is SMALL. I'm waiting for the XL band to show up... :#

Can you just leave the powder out for theirs? Not sure if it's substantial for the recipe or not.

I'm changing it but it's more because I got into a rut. My job requires me to sometimes be away from the office so it's fast food or gas station in podunk country towns where everything is fried and slathered. lol!

I'm starting tonight after my minions go to bed. I'm 29, three kids (7, 5, and 5).

I run alone at night with no music and I conceal carry. I'm on the outskirts of town and we have coyotes and loose dogs. I'm more concerned about that than being attacked by a person. I'm far out enough where someone could stop and grab me I suppose but...I don't think much of it.
