Pedometer for kids?

The Garmin Vivofit Jr is kind of pricey, but it's the first I've seen aimed at kids. My co-worker's 10 year old daughter seemed to do well with a Fitbit Alta. My 8 year old stepson wears one of my old Fitbit flexes sometimes. For the most part, every young person I've given a Fitbit to seems to wear it for about a week, then gets bored and takes it off.1

Maybe buy an inexpensive one to see if she sticks with it, and then invest in a Fitbit or Garmin when you're sure it's not just a passing fad?0

This one from Unicef turns your kid's steps into funding for malnourished children. You can buy it at Target, but not sure how much.

Google "Pedometer" there are some cheap ones out there. I don't recommend shelling out the cash for a Fitbit on an 8 year old.
Here's one for $20

I found a $30 one at Marshalls. My 8yo son is happy with it and loves tracking his steps daily.0

We got the Vivofit Jr. He/we love it BUT the damn band is SMALL.
I'm waiting for the XL band to show up...0 -
