Oh my god I literally laughed out loud at this one. Thank you!!

I'm lactose intolerant as well, and I've found that I can actually make most recipes out there with a few simple substitutions. Replace cow milk with soy (or almond, etc.) milk in baking. Goat cheese and yogurt are delicious tangy substitutes for cow cheese and sour cream. Make buttermilk by adding 1 Tbsp of white vinegar…

Try getting out of the house for a while, drinking lots of water, or eating something small but super filling. But honestly, for myself, if I want something really super badly I ignore all those suggestions and just give in to the craving.

Your core will strengthen quickly. I noticed a huge difference from the beginning to middle of the first stage when I was doing prone jackknives. Just keep at it, you will start to see results!

I also can't eat cow products. Snacks for me include goat milk yogurt with protein powder, a protein shake with soy milk and peanut butter or a handful or nuts.

Thanks! Stronglifts.com was very helpful!

So you want me to eat a cup of spice so that I can get my 2000mg of calcium every day? No thanks. Also, pasteurization of milk has been practiced for hundreds of years. It is not a recent thing brought about in response to the "evils of the corporations." If you're that worried about milk, get your dairy products straight…

Wow, if you're gonna stereotype at least try to get it right...eh?

The pumpkin spice cookies that are sitting right on my counter!! I'm trying to ignore them but they're calling so loudly...

Baking buns and cleaning the kitchen

Be thankful that you can eat dairy. There are lots of us that can't. It's a great source of protein and calcium, so I say go for it. It's not like you're pounding back a 4L of milk every day.

The scale has read 157 for the last month or so, and it's been rather disappointing but I haven't given up. The last two weeks I have been noticing that my pants have been feeling looser, and I've even had to tighten my belt a notch, despite not losing any weight! So this morning I decided to try on a pair of pants that…

We had a conference at work Friday of last week, as well as yesterday and today. All days there have been delicious looking muffins/cookies/pastries sitting in front of me calling my name. I resisted all three days, and instead had a piece of delectable homemade apple cake after dinner instead (once I had filled in all my…

I was hit by a car four years ago and ever since have had varying amounts of trouble with my left knee. Shortly after the accident and subsequent surgery I noticed I could barely walk the five blocks to the bus stop without stopping to let my knee rest, but as I rebuilt and strengthened that joint my endurance increased…

Two days in and I feel much better already! I went for a gruelling run this morning and the adrenaline afterwards made me feel amazing! I'm going for another run tomorrow, and again Saturday morning if it's not raining outside. My boyfriend is working all day Saturday so I'll be home alone. Normally I would cheat like…

This is me exactly. The weekend comes and my motivation goes out the window. I still do housework, grocery shopping, baking buns, etc. but I'm not nearly as active as I am during the week. It seems all I want to do is relax and read a good book on the couch, but that just makes me hungry and I usually end up overeating.

Bump!

Wow...I guess anyone who does things differently from you should just give up their existence then. Way to support others' ideas!

I'm 22 and from Edmonton. I fell of the treadmill too, and I'm trying to get back on. Feel free to add me!

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Yes Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yes What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Stayed late after school to workout. What would I have done differently? Nothing What is today's personal goals? Read lots of my textbook and somehow find the time to get in a bit of…

Well at least you only get the snow. We got the snow and -45 C weather this last week. If I had my way I'd stay curled up in a ball in my bed lol.

You'll be fine. Honestly, one day of crazy overeating won't sabotage you as long as you get back on track the next day. It's when you start to binge 2 or 3 or 4 times a week each week that bad things start to happen. Hope you enjoyed your day off from school!

Yay!

Congratulations with your first week! Weekends are always the hardest for me too.

Welcome here!

Me too!! Isn't it an awesome feeling?
