I started the new rules of lifting for women program about 4-6 weeks ago and I've noticed that my left knee is incredibly sore 6-24 hours after I do deadlifts. I should also note that I was hit by a car in 2008 and it directly struck my left knee, and it still gives me periods of trouble to this day. Do you think the pain is a result of poor technique? Is my knee simply too weak to support the weight of the lift properly? I am only lifting 70lbs and I can squat no problem. Thoughts?

Could be from the injury or could be from bad form. Check out stronglifts.com and/or dieselcrew.com for proper form and technique. Good luck.0
