Add sodium to what you are tracking. Could just be water retention :)

I try to eat every 2-3 hours too, to keep my metabolism running. Sometimes I have a major snack attack at night too, but I think for me personally, it's just that I'm busy during the day working so I may not feel the need to eat, but at night I'm relaxing and out of boredom think about food lol. If that makes any sense. I…

Apple cider Vinegar is my best friend when it comes to water retention and uncomfortable bloating. I will take a couple tbsp right from the spoon and then brush my teeth afterwards because it tastes like crap!

I have made mini-rewards for myself for mini-goals. Sometimes I get discouraged even when I'm doing the right things to lose weight and end up giving up, so I made my goals for "staying on the right track" and weight. If I can go a whole month without eating out - new shoes If I work out 20 times in a month - massage If I…

During the week absolutely!! I work 11 hour days, go straight to the gym, come home and cook a nutritious meal for me and my fiance, pack our lunches and then I'm lucky to sit for an hour before bed! Not to mention the constant planning of what I'm eating, how much I need to exercise, stressing if I'm over, wondering how…

I use an organic natural peanut butter called MaraNatha. It''s sooooooooo good. After having it, I could not go back to Skippy or Jiff or anything like that because I find it tastes waxy after eating the real thing!! You have to stir in the oils like with most natural peanut butters but it is sooo sooo worth it!! I've…

OH yumm!! bump!!

Try not to be too discouraged!! If I weigh myself the day after an intense cardio session, I'm usually 4 lbs heavier!!! but after a day or two I drop really fast to a loss. I lose weight very slowly, but if you know you are doing all the right things, eventually the scale will follow

Weighed in at 165.2! That's a 2.8 lb loss since we started! :)

Kashi is definitely one of the better names out there and looking at some of the nutritional stats I'd say that the sodium is reasonable. However, what I find with frozen dinners is that I get soooo much less for the calories. I now make most of the stuff I need on Sundays and then can grab it quick. For example, I make a…

Great advice! I do this too, and it helps sooo much!! If I don't, I'll have 50 cals left for dinner!

I love egg whites with salsa on an Ezekiel English muffin! yummm!

I think it depends on the person. Personally, for me, in the mornings I don't push myself hard as I do in the evenings because (a) I usually had to wake myself up earlier and am tired and (b) if I haven't eaten, I don't really have the energy to push through it.

I agree with this!! I totally feel the same way if I dont eat enough protein!! Good luck! :)

If you never ever drank water before, could it be that you were dehydrated and now your body is hanging out to everything it can get? Kinda like when you go into starvation mode and your body holds on the everythign you put in it? I used to be addicted to diet pop, but a nutrionalist told me to stop drinking it…

I also need some sort of sauce on my food. I just found a great way to have it and keep my sodium down!! I made home made tzatziki with non-fat greek style yogurt, lemon juice, cucumber and garlic!! nutrious and delicious!! The greek yogurt had barely any sodium at all and i could lather it on my food without the guilt!!…

Thank you so much everyone for all your support!! I will definitely try talking to her about it again when I'm a little more stable in my routine and can handle whatever she says without getting derailed!! :) You guys are the best! <3

I'm also having a hard time with this....MFP says 24 g of sugar per day, but I eat a ton of fruit (mostly berries in my attempt to keep the sugar low) Pair that with some non-fat yogurt and low fat cottage cheese and I'm over double my sugar everyday!!

How about cadbury mini eggs?? I'd love to have an excuse to eat them (well more of them actually! )

I will try that and hopefully that helps. I want to be able to work out without someone carrying me out of the gym! :blushing:

If I go to spin class first thing in the morning I have a glass of water and a banana or an apple, and afterwards I try to make sure I have a balance carb/protein meal. Spin class is fairly intense and last 50 mins, but I was doing it fine before. I take a multivitamin twice daily as per the directions, as well as an extra…
