OK... I tried making this last night, not sure what I did wrong. I mixed it all together and simmered it for a bit, poured it into a pan with wax paper and put it in the freezer. It didn't really set well, nor did it thicken. Thoughts??

Hello.... I'm on 1200 calories and am rehabbing a torn meniscus in my right knee, so I cannot do much for "normal" cardio at the moment. What I have been doing is: lots of core work (crunches) also using small weights and sitting in a chair and punch straight out (pretending to hit a heavy bag) and punch to the sides (this…

I go to the gym once a week and work out from home the other days. I like the variety and change of pace at the gym, but like the convenience of working out at home. (Sometimes I only have a little time free and if I drive to the gym, that eats up part of my time.) Have a great day!

I'm in for the Crunch Challenge! Am off squats til my knee is healed.

The trainers that I have worked with and my chiropractor all say light excersize is good and helps move the cold out. But, careful not to over do and drink plenty of water. :flowerforyou:

I have made cauliflower mash several times. The family likes it, so I quit making potatoes. I mash it by hand, add seasoning, sometimes a little butter. Very good.

Thanks for all of the great ideas! I'd only made quinoa once and didn't like it. (assumed I cooked it incorrectly :grumble: ) I am really excited to have new ideas.

Hi... Ok, reading the posts brings a question for me.... I just bought a polor FT4 today (will be using it for the 1st time tonight). I see a lot of people saying they have both the fitbit and FT4. What is the reason for having both? Thanks! Mary

Thanks!! I was concerned about this too! I don't eat junk or candy. But my protein shake in the morning has 10 grams of sugar and carrots and fruit have a lot of sugar. I won't stress over going a little over my sugar allowance.

Continue with what you are doing... sounds like you are doing great! Yes, I would do a couple sets of abs/core workout everyday (crunches, planks, etc). It will strengthen and tone. Great job!

Great job!!! I think its wonderful that you've dropped the weight! Keep up the good work running, etc. Have a great day!

Hello!!! LOVE your honesty!!! You can do anything you set your mind to. My advice... slow and steady will win the race. Someone before me (in this topic) mentioned walking a block today and maybe a little further the next day. Friend me if you want, I'm on most days. Hang in there!! Have a wonderful day!

Hello.... When you did your profile, what did you put as your activity level? If you put your activity level as sedentary or low, then I'd log it. If you put your activity level as active, I would not log it, I'd just consider it as normal everyday activity.

Continue with what you are doing (strength training and cardio), keep your food intake where it is suppose to be and you will see results. Sometimes the scale may seem stuck for a week, but then it will drop. Hang in there! Sounds like you are doing what you are suppose to be!
