  • I'm also naturally pear-shaped. A combination of weights, cardio, and nutrition helped me to build up the upper body and slim down the lower body. P90X, P90X2, Insanity, and Asylum are good programs to follow. While exercise is important, nutrition is even more important and will help you lose body fat in the bottom half. ,
  • Kickboxing class at the gym.
  • I have done both. You won't get too muscular with either one. P90X will give you more definition. P90X also provides modifications if you are really worried about gaining too much muscle - lean version and using lighter weights with higher reps. I did the classic version and loved the definition I got. For best results,…

  • P90X (weight + cardio + flexibility) or Insanity (cardio). P90X is a well rounded program but requires some equipment. Insanity is mostly cardio but does not require equipment and each workout session is shorter than the P90X workouts. Both are very intense but will produce excellent results.
  • I have also completed Insanity. It was very hard but I'm glad I did it. Just do what you can and take breaks when you need to.
  • On the 3rd round of P90X, I started to follow the P90X nutrition plan. After about 2 months my periods have stopped and have not returned.. My body fat is about 10% and I eat about 1500 calories a day.
  • I'm on week 2 of Phase 2. I did Phase 1 for 5 weeks and skipped the recovery week. I had to get a chip up assist band because I lost some lat strength I gained in P90X/P90X Plus by doing Insanity before P90X2. Would like to hear what you think of PAP Upper and PAP Lower.

  • Great job! I did a couple of rounds of P90X and liked the results that I got. I'm currently in Phase 2 of P90X2.
  • Great job! I have done both programs (separately) so I know how tough they are. Completing them is definitely a huge accomplishment.
  • Try P90X. Its a well rounded fitness and nutrition program. It has weight & ab workouts 3 times a week, cardio 2 times a week, and flexibiity once a week. I've had great results with it.

  • I also get up at 4:30 am so I don't have time to cook breakfast. Here are some no cook ideas (250 -300 calories): - 1/2 cup dry oat meal or oat bran soaked in 1 cup unsweetened almond milk and 1/2 scoop protein powder - 1 cup plain non fat yogurt or kefir and 1/2 scoop protein powder with cereal (3/4 cup high fiber…
  • I use Jay Robb whey protein powder (chocolate or vanilla). I usually buy it from GNC since I get 20% off with my gold card.
  • I used to drink a lot of diet sodas and other diet soft drinks and eat a lot of sugar free processed foods. The artificial sweetners in the drinks and foods messed up my digetive system so I quit. I did not notice a difference in my weight but I felt better after I quit.
  • I'm between 5'-1 and 5'-2" and weigh between 95 - 100 pounds. I eat about 1500 cal/day. I don't have a goal wieght but I want to keep body fat % low. I am currently doing P90X2 (including the nutrition plan). I did 2 rounds of P90X without following the nutrition plan. On the 3rd, round I incorporated the nutrition plan…
  • I love yogurt but I find that Greek yogurt is expensive. I buy plain, non-fat yogurt and strain it. I add fruits (like blueberries), high fiber cereal, and protein powder.
  • I have done 3 rounds of P90X, 2 rounds of P90X Plus, and 1 round of Insanity. I'm currently on Phase 2 (Strength) of P90X2. On the 3rd round of P90X, I followed the nutrition plan and got really great results.

  • I also have done both P90X and Insanity. Both are great programs but I prefer P90X because it is more well-rounded. I think its better as a long term fitness program. I have done multiple rounds of P90X, P90X Plus, and am currently doing P90X2. I don't think I'll do another full round of Insanity but I have taken…
  • Jay Robb whey protein.

  • You can also buy it from Netrition.com.
  • I have doneP90X, P90X Plus, and Insanity. I'm currently in week 6 of P90X2. I was scared to do Insanity but I'm glad I did.
  • After finishing Insanity, I started P90X2. I might do Asylum after X2t.
  • In my experience, excercise helped lessen the cramps and made me feel better. When I started P90X, I was determined to follow the program so I didn't let my periods stop me from working out. When I incorporated the P90X nutrition plan, I lost enough body fat that my periods have completely stopped. I've since done P90X…
