P90X/Insanity results (Round 1)

I just wanted to post my progress pics. After having a baby a year and a half ago, I felt like it was my right to eat anything I wanted. Some months ago someone looked at me and exclaimed about the amount of weight I had on, and that was the wake up call for me. Started doing a little bit of workout in August, but committed myself October 30, 2011. Don't see them being a big motivation for anyone, but I still feel great about what I've been able to accomplish. And I'm much stronger and fitter than when I started. Did P90X and Insanity together because I'm easily bored. Planning to start another round March 4.
Stats:
Weight: 141 lbs / 125 lbs (-16 lbs)
Bust: 35.5" / 33.5" (-2")
Waist (Navel): 32.5" / 30.5" (-2")
Hips: 40.5" / 38.5" (-2")
Body fat %: 37.4 / 33.2 (-4.2%)

you look so toned:-))!!! must be a great great feeling to get that ticker in your signature to the end:-). congratulations on all the hard work and dedication:-))0

Thanks! Not a HUGE improvement, but I'll take it. Seeing the 0 was bittersweet, because now weight is no longer my main focus, my body fat % is still too high. That's my next goal, to lose 7% during the next round. Hope I can do it.0

Nice job!! Congrats, your hard work is definitely paying off. My hubby is doing a P90X/Insanity hybrid right now, so I know how tough it is. Impressed.0

Awesome job, girl! I am like you...wanting to lose %body fat more so than weight. I finished Insanity in October and now I am doing mostly P90X, but not following any schedule. Best of luck to you! Can't wait to see your results the next go around!0

Great job! I have done both programs (separately) so I know how tough they are. Completing them is definitely a huge accomplishment.0

you can definitely see the difference! progress is a slow process, but the results in the end are so worth it. I'm starting over on my p90x...i tried doing it before my breast reduction, but my girls kept getting in the way, and not to mention my back problems. but now i'm fit to go one month after surgery(:0

You inspire me to actually keep up with it! I just can't seem to motivate myself to do the workouts...0

Great job! Once you get down to a lower weight, it takes alot more work to make a difference right? Well I see it!
Curious to know - how did you do your hybrid? Do both workouts every day??0 -
Hey thank you all! I REALLY appreciate it! It was tough, I have to admit, but so fulfilling at the end. And the little one in the pic is my daughter, the reason why exercise is now a NECESSITY. But I wouldn't have it any other wayyou can definitely see the difference! progress is a slow process, but the results in the end are so worth it. Congrats! It must be so great to have support like that. My b/f refuses to get up off his butt and join in. I can see him start getting a little jealous though with my results. He has started to dabble in sports again. You inspire me to actually keep up with it! I just can't seem to motivate myself to do the workouts...
I know what you mean, I work out first thing in the morning (had to wake up 1 hour earlier) just to get it done and over with. If I save it for the afternoon it is not getting done. When I finish at 6 I'm so glad it's over and I feel great that I pushed myself to do it. Add me as a friend if you need some motivation.Great job! Once you get down to a lower weight, it takes alot more work to make a difference right? Well I see it!

Oh no! I know people who do this but I have a LIFE outside of working out. LOL! Actually, I did 3 days of P90X and 3 days of Insanity. I guess I would have gotten faster results from doing both on the same day but I neither have the time nor the energy for that. Are you currently doing them too?0 -
oh i wasn't implying you should do both on one day!! LOL...I haven't started yet, but I've been going back and forth on which one to do. I am leaning towards Insanity. When I saw your post about a hybrid, I thought to myself hmmm.... ;-)0

This is the schedule that my husband and I are following. You basically do three days of lifting (P90X) and two days of cardio (Insanity) and one stretch day. So far I'm really loving it!
