Hello Green team! How are we doing so far? I've had my best week yet since starting MFP in January. I'm happy I lost 3 lbs in a week. I've exercised 6 out of the last 7 days. :-)

It worked for me! I increased my mfp suggestion of 1200 calories to 1400 and I've been losing steadily. At 1200 calories, I lost about 4 lbs in a month. Now, I see a steady loss every week. It's hard to eat more because we were always told to eat less in order to lose weight but if you are exercising, it definitely works.…

I pay way too much ($129) but the fitness/bootcamp classes are with small groups (4-6 people) so it's like having a personal trainer included and I have the Mixed Martial Arts/kickboxing included too. I'm now a yellow belt-woohoo. But it's definitely something I enjoy so I'll pay. :smile:

I need to be able to do full situps and lose my stomach. I wish, I wish...I'm working hard at it. I've had several abdominal surgeries and it's been difficult building my weak muscles in my mid section. Advice anyone?

I try not to cheat only because I don't have self control. My personality is like an addict's - I can't have a little bit of sugar or a little bit of chocolate. Once I start- I lose control. My BIGGEST pet peeve is when you enter/exit a department store and there are 6-8 doors yet everyone squeezes through the one I open for my kids instead of opening their own door. SUPER LAZY! ugh!

My sugar fluctuates but it ranges around 130 in the am which is still a little high even with all my exercise. Sugar goes down when I lower carbs .

I have type 2 diabetes and I try to keep carbs at less than 100g every day. (1200 calorie diet for me)

I found out that if I go home after work, I rarely leave. Therefore, I try to bring my workout clothes with me and I walk at lunch time at work and I go straight to the gym after work- with my kids. If I have to go home, I leave my clothes in the kitchen and dart out within 30 minutes- I don't sit down at all. :wink:
