I LOVE avocados. One way is mashed into canned tuna instead of mayo

1.) Cottage Cheese - It's such a good source of protein! For me to eat it, it has to be REALLY cold. Like from the fridge to my mouth. Weird? Maybe... 2.) Greek Yogurt - I've been eating it for a while and love it so I have fat free plain and stir in my own fruit. Otherwise, I think the fruit on the botom Chobani is…

1. Chicken breast 2. Chobani plain nonfat greek yogurt 3. fruit!

Chicken breast is my #1 ingredient! My favorite way to cook it is covered in McCormick's applewood rub and grill it or bake it. A meat thermometer is a great tool. Buying thin cutlets (or breasts and slicing them in half) makes the process much easier and quicker!

i lost a few pounds the first week! Once you start logging, it's a serious reality check to see how much you've really been consuming.

Not an Aussie, but I fell in love with Australia after visiting in 2010 and I'm hoping to move there!

Congrats on your weight loss so far, that's impressive! I'm fighting to get down to 125 (SW: 190). Add me! I'm on here daily. I'll support and push you if you can do the same for me :)

I whip my oats with banana when I make them on the stovetop. In the fall/winter, I add cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin puree! Yummm

Agreed! I love banana "soft serve". I've added chocolate chips, PB2, all natural jelly...there are so many options!

Heck yes, I'd love to lose 20 pounds by Christmas! CW: 161.2 12/25/12 goal: 140!!!!!!!!! What a Christmas present that would be! Add me for some motivation, and help me out!

Peanut butter has healthy fats but I prefer almond butter even more. DARK chocolate has antioxidants. A small piece daily isn't bad for you, but it does have a significant amount of fat
-
feel free to add me! I'd love to see your diary also since you've been so successful!

For me, lean, clean and green is two cups of fresh veggies (I'm loving squash, zucchini and eggplant right now) alongside 4 ounces of boneless skinless chicken breast or fish!
-
I buy Chobani 0% Plain and add my own toppings, such as fruit, crumbled bran muffins, all natural jam, flaxseed, etc.
-
I mix one can with one wholly guacamole 100 calorie pack and serve it on a few romaine leaves. Protein, healthy fats and veggies!
-
I do! Feel free to add :)

I know what you mean about "being better tomorrow." I always say it's just one time...but it's NEVER just one time!! It's so cool that you're doing a half marathon! I was hoping to do one in a couple months but I've only made it through the first couple weeks of c25k....woops. Welcome back!! Adding you now :)
-
hahahaha you're hilarious! I need you :) Add me if you'd like!

Your heart rate should only be that high if you're doing tabata (short, very challenging workouts). Keeping your heart rate that high for an extended amount of time can cause damage. Limit high intensity workouts to 2-3 times per week. Also, your body should be able to recover and return to a normal heart rate within a…

If you're making it with just water and tea bags, I don't see why it wouldn't be equivalent to just drinking plain water! Bottled iced tea is a different story.
-
I wouldn't log it. I only log workouts (at home or the gym) and any long walks. I consider everyday tasks part of my normal calorie burn (i.e. I'd never log chores). But that's just me!

I just ordered TurboFire yesterday so I'll probably start on Monday the 25th! Send me a message or add me if you want to do this together!

I just started this week! I did day 1 two days ago and I'm still sore. I completed the workout THREE times with no rest and really overdid it. Next time, I'm only going to do it once (or maybe twice if I'm feeling awesome).

I just ordered TurboFire and I am SO excited!! Anyone have tips for a beginner? How long did it take you to catch on to the choreography? Thanks :)

I LOVE my polar ft40. It's super accurate and the chest strap is barely noticeable. Search around, you can get it much cheaper if you don't buy it directly from Polar. (I think retail was $170, I got mine for $108)
