So you have fallen back a bit. You should congratulate yourself on being the weight you are. Don't beat yourself up. Maybe try and eat foods that are more filling, like protein. I hear you about being bored and eating. Maybe it is the KFC, being chicken and protein that kept you full. Have a chicken and cheese toasted…

Everyone has different theories on what to do - ugghh !!!! I will count my calories, cut down on sugar and fat and exercise and see how that goes for a month.

Thanks for all the tips. I don't have high blood pressure or anything like that. I gained alot of weight during and after chemo and have never been able to shift it. I have a thyroid problem that tablets won't fix. Will take all your advice on board and cut down firstly on calories and definitely sugar and also concentrate…

I admit I eat white bread, but have found "country split" to be the best white bread - will try the cardboard bread you suggested. Don't drink fizzy drink, except once a week on takeaway night Don't drink alcohol Don't smoke Don't drink juices - but love freshly squeezed (by myself) orange juice. Feels like a hit of…

Good on you for eating what you want. I am a fussy eater so, yes I eat chocolate for lunch and cheesecake for desert, but make sure my calories are under goal. Some people are too critical on this site and have no right to tell someone what they can or cannot eat. You go girl and eat what you want (within moderation...lol)…

Hi having half roast lamb tonight in slow cooker. Just added the lamb and nothing else as I do my vegies in the actifry (no oil). How do I log the cooked roast lamb in grams? Cheers, can't wait for dinner.

Yes it has no fat etc. I saw this in the recipe section yesterday. 3-2-1 CAKE Ingredients: 1 box Angel Food Cake Mix 1 box Cake…

Chips are great in the actifry. Rileysowner, 1 use only a teaspoon of oil, not a tablespoon and works out fine. karendzar, I do chips and roast vegies (potato's and pumpkin) cubed, dash of oil and 25mins later, poof, best roast vegies ever!!, not dripping in oil, nice and crisp. There are heaps of recipes in the book you…

Love my Tefal Actifry. I mainly do chips and roast vegies (potato and pumpkin) cut up into cubes. Best investment I have made, even took it and the flavourwave camping with us. The actifry and the Mr T flavourwave oven are my best kitchen friends as one only uses 1 teaspoon of oil and the other uses none. I do all my…

Hi Hannah I  LOVE:heart: my Tefal Actifry. Well worth the money. Best chips in my book. I did calamari rings in it the other day too (but they contain too much sodium), and I also do potato and pumpkin (small cubes) as my roast vegies with that little bit of oil, but that is about as far as I have got in cooking in…

Hi, I bought an Actifry, (quite expensive, but worth it). I can cook 500g of chips with 1 teaspoon of oil. I cook anything in it that needs deep frying (calamari rings, chips etc) in it. You get a recipe book with it as well. I also have a Mr T flavourwave oven, which I cook everything else in, no oil whatsoever…

Thanks all. Wesse, I knew about Nuttelex margarine, but the rice crackers are a bonus. Going to the shops now for food as 99% of what I have in the kitchen is no good.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. We have had every medical test under the sun for the cause of her "daily headaches", even had her adenoids taken out. There is nothing medical wrong. The chiropractor does kinesiology as well and suggests that her "gut" is reacting to certain foods which might be causing…

Every time I cut my long hair short - I REGRET IT BIG TIME !!!   DON'T DO IT !! I suffer from "hot flushes" ever since chemo and I HAD long thick hair, jezz it would get hot under the hair, and like you, also kept it up in a bun 99% of the time. But I regret cutting it, mine is about as long as the pink…
