Hi! I'm from NY but live in Atlanta. My goal is to lose about 5-10 lbs and then maintain. I had a big weight loss about two years ago but a few months back I gained about 10 lbs after starting a birth control shot. Good Luck with your goal...I've sent a friend request. Feel free to add me!

Typically 30mins on treadmill and 1 set/10 reps/ 5 lbs weighted ball - about 4 different arm excercises. Sometimes I add in the recumbant bike for something different.

I totally understand the limited time thing! In my home, we made a plan...I go to the gym in the morning a few times a week before work for about 30 minutes at a time, my husband goes to the gym afer work. Basically, he is on kid duty in the a.m. and I'm on duty in the p.m. . Maybe you guys can work out something like that.

Hi there! Feel free to add me if you would like. Lifestyle change indeed...not a diet. Good Luck!

I sold some on ebay and used the money towards new, proper fitting clothes. The rest I donated to GoodWill.

Feel free to add me. I am a mom, wife, and I am employed in a pretty stressful career fulltime but I think it's very important to still find time for my health. So far MFP has been a great tool and I'm always looking for new positive friends. ;-) Good Luck!

Feel free to add me. I am not completely starting over but I did have a big loss, and then gain back about 10 pounds that I am trying to lose again. It seems harder to get motivated this time for me but MFP helps keep me accountable. Good Luck to you! :-)

Like with anything, time changes things. What may have worked for you a couple of years ago (couple years younger) may not work now. Be patient with it...I agree with the person that said slow and steady wins the race. Good Luck.

I took RX diet pills (phentermine) for about 2 or 3 months about two years ago. My body did have to get used to them but I did have great success with them, losing more than my goal weight and kept it off. Keep in mind I went to a medical clinic which monitored and guided me, I do not have any medical issues and was not…

I am a Property Manager. Very busy, stressful at times, and ever changing but I like what I do. Problem is I sit most of the day and that is not helpful to my weight management.

I will echo what most of the others have said, "do something you like and you will stick with it". There is a twist though...your body gets used to patterns/routines so at some point you may find that switching things up will give you better results. As for me I have had success with walking/running (intervals) on the…

I am betwen a size 4 and a 6 at 130 depending on the cut of the clothing. I have been down to 117, between a size 2 and a 4 depending on the cut of the clothing. Ideally, I would like to be around 120 and a true size 4 consistantly but I seem to always lose beyond my goal weight. :-( I think goal weights depend largely on…

Yes, yes, yes...my past experience is YES! I lost at least 1 cup size and went from a band size of 36 to a 34. Also they were less firm. I also lost in my buttocks which wasn't huge to begin with. I wish you could choose the areas of weight loss. :-)

Hi! About a year a a half a go I lost over 30 pounds using a very strict 1100 calorie diet and exercise routine. I did go to a weight loss clinic and in the beginning I had some help with a prescription diet aid. I have been very successful keeping the weight off although I have abandoned my fitness routine and do not…
