My title is Credit Analyst. Basically what I do is track the paperwork for shipments for our customers to determine whether or not they will receive credit or not. OR If the shipment was by fault of the carrier, I file claims against that carrier.
I have a degree in accounting and I'd rather be doing something in that department, but this is close and there are advancement opportunities as well...but that is later down the road.

I do the billing for a home healthcare agency that also sells adult diapers. Answer the phones alot, people can be very cranky when their diapers are late.

Great hours and close to home, so I can't really complain.

I'm a data steward for a multi-state publicly funded charter school, which essentially means I do a LOT of state reporting duties, data management tasks, and wrangle with Excel formulas to crunch numbers for the communications director. In a previous life I was IT/MIS director for several public schools on a contract basis. This is a big step down, but as others have said - in this economy, a job is a valuable thing to have.

I am a compliance manager for a company specialising in service users with mental health requirements. They come to our hospitals from prison/hospital/doctors and we make it our job to reabilitate them and introduce them (as much as they can be) back in to the community.

I was in school to become an MA and they told us that eventually LPN positions won't exist anymore because an MA is able to do it all for less pay. I hate that. I think you should get paid the same!

I am a Property Manager. Very busy, stressful at times, and ever changing but I like what I do. Problem is I sit most of the day and that is not helpful to my weight management.
