What do you do for a living?

I currently work for a property management company, doing various tasks. My job should probably be divided between 2-3 people, but what can ya do. I coordinate all the maintenance that needs to be done in our properties (400+), answer the phone, file, some accounting, and much more. It pays the bills for now, but it's not a forever job for me.

What pays your bills?

I am a Marine Corps Infantry Officer, well at least for the next few years. I will be retiring in a couple years and will eventually have to get a real job.

How rude, being interrupted for blood samples!

  • I'm a CNA at the University of New Mexico Hospital. I float to all the various units of the hospital and I am primarily a patient care tech, but I occasionally play the role of a "sitter." Basically, babysitting misbehaving patients who are flight risks, suicide watches, have altered mental status, etc.

Do you enjoy your job? It sounds very interesting. I was going to school to become an MA, but decided it wasn't the right fit for me. I have a couple of friends who are patient care techs and they really seem to like it.
