  • Lost: An average human leg Goal: A super model Awesome chart dude, puts it all in perspective.
  • 2 points: Number 1. I think when we embark on a lifestyle change we truly start to notice everything food related more. Some of us turn into robots with calorie counting screens in front of our faces. Number 2. All the smart arses coming up with all sorts of metaphors to why it's not sabotage, I would be interested to know…
  • Magnolia, that is an amazing compliment thank you! But you're weigh off (geddit ;)) I should mention that I am 5ft 9 x Moijo, I'm going to guess at 165. Uber sorry if I'm well off in the wrong direction- again, height comes into it and I can only see your stunning face and hair xxx
  • Erm, it's hard to tell cos we don't know height and I'm probably going to insult this lovely lady, which is not my intention because she is beautiful.... Maybe 160? x
  • ^ What she said- I believe I have the same ones and I can move them about my kitchen, step on them 3 or 4 times in a row and I will weight the same. My mum has a set of scales that tell me I'm 5lbs heavier by the door, 2 lbs lighter by the window, so on and so forth. I learned with those that if you put them in a certain…
  • My god yes! About the never having been a normal weight. I can't put my finger on what my drive is. It started out that I wanted to be healthy and strong. I guess I have a few reason, similar to a few of yours..... Kids, longing to not have to visit the big girl section in shops (this is almost about to stop so BIG NSV for…
  • I'm 5ft 9 and my fingers do not touch around my wrist. In fact- they are no where near touching!!! That saying, I do have short fingers..... My I do believe i'm of large build. My ideal weight is between 8 st 11 and 12 st. I think if I hit 8st 11 I would look very underweight. I'm going to aim for 11 and take it from there.
  • Is this age standardised? I'm surprised the UK isn't on the list as we are the fattest country in Europe!- Though Germany has a larger population so if they arn't going by percentage and just plain numbers, it's not a very good indicator!
  • I feel for you, I really do as it happened to my friend. Mine though are currently an H cup with 40 back and they arn't shrinking- not even the back even though I've lost 3 stone now. May be to do with the fact I've had 2 children and breast fed both. I am actually hoping they do shrink a bit though as on a size uk 12…
  • Hi, I'm Jakki- I too want to lose around 100lbs! I started in January this year and have lost almost 40lbs so far (even though I fell off the wagon for 3 weeks- TWICE) Back in the game though. I want some friends too :D xxx
  • Surrey girl! :D x
  • My honest opinion. It sounds like he is finding excuses to pin his unhappiness on you. Whatever it is that he is doing.
  • Thanks Isabella, much appreciated and I'm glad i'm not the only one. I know a walk will probably do me good, I just wish there was a way I could still study while doing it lol
  • You do not need any extra calories in the first 2 trimesters. I believe I remember you only need about 100 extra calories in the 3rd trimester. But yeah consult your doc! :) xxx
  • I get peed off with a lot of people tbh. One minute i'm told that i'm not eating enough calories and then as soon as I have my ONE bar of chocolate a week I'm met with tuts and looks of disapproval. I've started to tell them to mind their own bloody business!
  • Bit late on this, but can't recommend 'Callanetics' more. It tones EVERYWHERE. twice a week with a couple of cardio sessions and you will see a big difference in 4 weeks. Good luck :) x
  • Exactly what I was thinking. It's ridiculous- How much money are you paying per lb of weight you lose? The internet is access to all information known to man- why not educate yourself and save some money for that new wardrobe you're going to need?!
  • I should probably add that she also has a nut allergy x
  • Mine would be "If you eat more than you should, you need to burn it off."
  • Skinless salmon fillet with mange tout, 100g of new potatoes, sungold tomatoes with a teaspoon of philly light w/ black pepper and spring onion. Followed by : weightwatchers strawberry cheesecake yoghurt, fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries and maybe a cheeky meringue nest- they are only 57cals each :D
  • Well that lasted long. The soup is lovely, until the end of the second day. It now resembles warmed up vomit to me and I'd had enough last night. I was hungry and craved more variation. It may work for some people but tbh it started making me miserable less than 48 hours in. There is deifnitely no substitute to a varied…
  • Here's the day I'm really not looking forward to... Veggies and soup day. Don't get me wrong, I love my veggies, but for breakfast? Think I'll just stick to coffee this morning..... I LOVE my fruit. However, I did stock up on a good variety of veg last night so I don't get too bored. This is STILL going against my…
  • Thank you. I thought better of my reply and deleted it. You may be right, but if my scales say so i'm happy. It's all about gaining momentum on my long road, and believe me, 7 stone is quite a way. But on a positive note, I'm 4st lighter than I was at my heaviest. Rocking on.
  • Day 1 so far so good. I actually feel great. half hour after my first portion of soup I had the biggest energy rush! Watch this space.... I agree it's not good long term and I am under no illusion that 50% of what I lose will probably be water but if I lose 7lbs of fat in one week I shall be very happy and i'm pretty sure…
  • Oi you lot! Play nicely ;) I'm a big believer that there is absolutely no substitute for a healthy diet and exercise. HOWEVER. My friend wants to lose a bulk to make her feel better so hell, I'm giving it a go! I can smell the soup simmering and it smells goooood. I'll check back here and let you know how it goes and if I…
  • 22K since Tuesday. I am gobsmacked! :D
  • It actually makes me angry when someone says 'you don't need pills' Generally these people have no idea what real depression is. Let me explain. E.G PND; Hormones. Exercise helps. But it's not going to stop a flood of emotion coming over me. Or help me sleep at night. Unless you are a doctor who knows the case, I would…
  • Done my 5 miles :D
  • Thankyou! I intend to walk around 5/6 miles tomorrow as I need to pop into town. I have other mums that walk too so it's great to have that support as well as you fab guys on here :) xxx
