IMO it all comes down to metabolism...the only type of "watching what I eat" that i need to to do, it to keep an eye on eating enough...I only used MFP to gain weigh to get me up into a healthy range....and it took me a quite a while to gain, and I had to eat much more than I imagined..I am 5'4" around 110-112lbs, <20% fat…

I saw this Doco a few years back, and also found it really interesting (as I am a "hard gainer" myself)...It was nice to have an explanation as to why I may be the way I am...other than just thinking I have a stupidly fast metabolism...

Yes, I do! I schedule my meals and snacks, other wise I have a tendency to under eat, then I lose weight too fast. As a gainer/maintainer, this is not a good thing for me. I can't really depending on listening to my body anymore, cause it simply tells me it's not hungry way too often.

Eat more, lift weights...Yes, its that simple....food will give you more energy to lift and will feed your body, lifting will build muscle and burn fat. Ok if you are sensitive to dairy, maybe consider lactose free kinds and see how you react to those...there is nothing wrong with dairy unless it does actually make you ill, then cut it out, but you know you may have sensitivites to…

When I used to do circuit training I would use my HRM, but with lifting I just add 150-200 on lifting day...Which is literally just a number I pulled out of my butt, but it seems to be working,...

34 F 5'4" 110lbs Around 2000 is my maintence, I'm not that active but have a Mega metabolism, I lift 3-4x a week, no cardio, walk a lot though. ....MFP sets it way lower...if I ever went by those standards I'd lose 3lb a week.

Eat more calorie dense foods. Eat more Heathy fats. Skip not fat options. Example : milk, yoghurt, nuts, nut butters, avocados, olive and coconut oils. Treat your self to dark chocolate...dried fruit blends...drink some juice.
