  • Whether I'm on a bulk, or simply maintaining, my calories are almost always between 2000-2500, and I have a small appetite so drinking my calories is sort of a necessity, and yes sometimes I do drink empty juice calories (to fill my calorie goal), but never soda, its usually milk, shakes or juice.
  • I'm sure not 18 anymore, but I am also a gainer, so feel free to add me too...I've been on fet almost a year gaining, maintaining, having set backs then gaining and maintaining again.

  • Exactly! That's the only part that bothers me.
  • I would guess they do pilates and/or yoga, probably some cardio (step or treadmill), and maybe low weight/higher rep weights, and watch their diet, but probably don't push protein the way most lifters would....I think its sad (and rude) that it is assumed they don't do anything and simply eat nothing to look the way they…
  • I don't pay attention to my MFP amounts, but I do take 100mg supplements as I am prone to anemia too, (I don't really count what I get from food)

  • It grosses me out a little, only cause I think horse meat tastes gross. When there was a bout of mad cow disease going on in the UK, Sweden tried stocking horse meat..and just yuck, its texture was just not right for my tastes, it was more like organ meats. Better than if it was cat or dog! ewwwww!
  • 30DS has a lot of jumping moves, some of them can be modified, but some, not so much...Its hard to say, but if you have already injured your knee, it might be too much....

  • This is what has worked for me, but note, I have come from the other direction and needed to gain weight...I bounce between eating at maintenance and then a few hundred above, I lift 3x days a week and circuit train 1 day, I also eat an extra 250cals or so on my exercise days.... I am very much in the process of altering…
  • So true....at some point in your journey, body composition should become a more important factor than simple weight loss. My current profile pic shows me 5 months ago and yesterday. I'm actually 7 lbs heavier in the after pic on the right (I'm a gainer) but I lost 1.5"in both my waist and belly and look so much tighter!
  • Butt Bible. Its has upper and lower workouts, 3 levels each. It's free on YouTube. You will need hand weights. As heavy as you like each exercise is around 8-12 rep range.

  • I agree, here in Sweden it would be a non issue, actually a fairly common place event...Perhaps many European countries are just more comfortable with nudity in a non sexual way..I can't believe the overreaction I'm seeing here,
  • I'm a gainer but same applies. Both are important to me but hotness is definitely the driving force for me...Its a bonus that what I need to do to achieve that level of sexiness does make me stronger and healthier anyway.

  • Bring Up My Post Its just a way of bring a post up to the top of the pile so it gets more attention, or more responses, though people also use it to mark a thread, so they can read it later...In fast moving forums, with a lot of people continuously posting new threads, older threads get lost very quickly.
  • I vote slow cooker BBQ pork (shredded), it is AWESOME, and full of protein! yum!
  • If you buy a HRM, you can add your own exercise and the calories YOU burned, which will be a bit more accurate for you anyway as the ones on the DB are an estimate. I think realistically it is just too hard to give an estimation for these types of exercises as the intensity varies so much between people...

  • I LOVE milk, so I use that (a 1.5% one), and I love the extra protein it gives me. Needing to watch my calories is not an issue for me...but if it was, I'd probably just go down to a skim milk rather than a non dairy "milk", just cause I prefer the taste.

  • I'm a little girl, and 1200 doesn't even come close to the amount of calories I need to eat per day to feel sane, Or perhaps I just can't eat that clean..and I'm lucky I don't have to.. I don't know, my knee jerk reaction to anyone who says they struggle to eat 1200 is that they are A) not logging correctly B) lying C)…

  • I think she's gorgeous, and her back view is fantastic, love that butt...I will also never be curvy, there is only a little difference between my hips and waist...So I also try to get muscles, that add to give ma an illusion of shape... But the article on the other hand was awful...No wonder so many women end up with such…
  • An Aussie here too. Like the above poster said the big evening meal I would use dinner or tea actually ...I have never used the word supper but I would connect it with a late night snack too.
