Weigh every morsel that goes in your mouth. Measuring cups and packing weights don't mean squat. I've not once weighed a prepackaged food and it be spot on. If you're off only 40 calories per day that's 1200 for the month. For someone of my stature that's almost a whole day not counting exercise calories.

Meal plan and pre-log your days. I often put my dinner into MFP before I even eat breakfast...makes less room for fast food and that soda I WANT to drink but don't need.
-
I use MFP and Fitbit. I'm on a 1200 calorie plan a day but sometimes Fitbit will tell me I've eaten too much at 1200 calories. I think every app you use will be slightly different due to how they calculate things. As long as you're losing weight, getting healthier and feel good I wouldn't worry about the small…

I have a dry erase calendar. At the end of the month I go thru the pantry, freezer and fridge to see what we have. I fill the calendar with as many meals as I can and then I fill in the rest according to what I buy thats on sale. The 3rd might say grilled chicken but we might not eat it the 3rd. I get up in the morning,…

My biggest hurdle was sweet tea and Coke. I literally drank 2 gallons a day plus 64+ ounces of Coke a day for 15 years.

I used to eat out/fast food every day for lunch and atleast 4 dinners a week. I'm in the process of moving so I'm eating out more until I can get all moved and unpacked but I cut down to lunch out only on saturdays of subway and dinner only for Friday night date nights. The key for me was planning. I take an insulated…

Walmart sells rice cookers that go in the microwave for like $10. Also my goodwill always has crockpots for like $5. For 1 person you wouldn't need a huge 1 unless you want a big one. Walgreens has a small appliance section with small crockpots for around $10 or even try a Big Lots or Dollar General type store. The…

I freeze as much as I can in individual portions. You could also cut the recipes in 1/2 or even 1/4s

Digital all the way. I just bought a new one at Bed,Bath and Beyond for $21 total. It's big enough for a dinner plate or a pot, tares and had grams and ounces/pounds.

I do the same workouts every day. Working out sucks at first but then it gets better about 10 minutes into it.
-
I rarely eat into my exercise calories but a lot of people eat 25-50% of them and seem to have success
-
Sweet tea and regular Coke but only because I don't have the will power to only have in moderation. 1 sweet tea=me drinking a gallon of it literally
-
Oh I get that but overall she's generating unhealthy thoughts and habits that new people who are trying to figure it out won't realize.

Please just delete this whole post so other new people don't see what you're doing and think its ok. Because its not! Diet pills aren't ok, drinking lemon syrup not ok, eating 900-1000 cals a day not ok. IF you do hit the goal weight, you'll be close to physically useless from ruining your muscles and body

I use a FitBit for tracking steps and only add in nonstep based exercise. FitBit has an app that I track my runs with just so I can keep track of my distance, speed, etc

Hubby hasn't complained about my time to workout even though it means up to 2 hours with the kids and sometimes all the bedtime duties.
-
Go to your diary and search foods for breastfeeding. There's an entry that subtracts 500 calories which allows you to eat 500 more calories to compensate
-
I buy quite a bit there. Especially the Fit Active stuff. I often find when I scan the barcodes it comes up name brand.
-
During the work week I eat 3 meals and 3 snacks. Weekends I do a light lunch, snack and big dinner

You have 18 pounds to lose. With that little you should aim for .5 pounds loss a week to do it healthily.
-
I exercise a little more, go for a walk or I eat less the next day

When I first stated jogging, my fingers would swell so much that I could hardly bend them. It was painful and SUCKED but I pushed through and after about a week it quit happening.
