  • During the last two days I have not been on track with my daily intake goal. Eating way too much, but also doing damage control with the increase in exercise. :| So the good news is that the scale is not feeling the effects, BUT, today my goal is to stay within my limits and get back on track. I gave up Chocolate for Lent…
  • My "tight pants" are starting to go on really easy and are not so "tight". :)
  • Down another pound! Yea Me :) Finished my goal of cleaning my office. Not much really to do since I go not have a lot of clutter, so WHY DID IT TAKE ME SO LONG? PROCRASTINATION!!!! What a dirty word this has become for me. Well not in this area of my life. I am making strides, I have my armor, I have my tools and I have my…
  • I had a really bad week, or so I thought :/ I had a binge day where I REALLY WENT TO TOWN ON SWEETS! BUT, I made my goal EVERY DAY of CHARTING EVERYTHING! (Even on the binge day where my numbers were ASTRONOMICAL)! After my perceived, BAD WEEK, I am DOWN 1.6 pounds. I am again convinced that TRACKING EVERYTHING is the key!…
  • Great Job! Do not worry, though, I will be with you soon! Ha,ha,ha! You all inspire me :)
  • Great Day Today! Stayed within my limit and walked in the house to finish my 15,000 steps after work. Missed my Zumba Class, but only because I was stuck in traffic. However, this was not a setback, because I DID THE 15,000 STEPS INSIDE! Yay for me. I did not get angry, only changed the direction. :) Goals for tomorrow: 1.…
  • Went to the gym with my husband driving due to the amount of ice on the roads. Did two 40 minute sessions on the elliptical and was able to do my 15,000 steps. Can not wait until tomorrow after work. I miss my Zumba Class which has been cancelled due to the weather. :( Went a little over my food budget and drank less than…
  • Went to the gym and spent 2 hours on the elliptical machine. One hour of a real workout and one hour talking to my mother on the phone. (Trying to take care of two things at once. Ha.ha, ha!) :) I drove to the gym on the ice and snow and just took it very slow. I am so proud of myself! <3 I made my goal of staying within…
  • Had a great week until today. I was crazy/mad in the gym. Going to two classes a day. Zumba and Cycle. Stayed within my limit, which, of course was higher due to the amount of exercise. Felt a bit tired, but, OH SO PROUD OF MYSELF! :) Now today. Different day. Not able to go to the gym. Really bad snow/ice storm and after…
  • I have tracked for the 10th day in a row! May not seem like much to anyone but myself, but for me, this is a big milestone! How long does it take to form a Habit? Humm :)
  • Just tone them up and enjoy the fact that they work!
  • My first day went well. Can not believe that I charted and was right on point. I joined weight watchers and am hyped.
  • Joined Weight Watchers yesterday and STAYED WITHIN MY LIMIT

  • Ok. Same goal tomorrow. STAY WITHIN THE LIMIT! I'm worth it
  • OMG! Over my limit already! Blew it again
  • Ok, so I did not make my goal today to stay within my calorie limit :/ . However, I did track every single food item that passed my lips. I also went to that kickboxing class in order to raise the limit. (And had a LOT OF FUN!) Tomorrow, Same Goal Stay within the limit.
  • Ok, so I did not make my goal today to stay within my calorie limit
  • My goal for tomorrow Only one TO TRACK AND STAY WITHIN MY LIMIT
  • I was so proud of myself since I went to a dinner party and informed my friend when I was full. I had to politely refuse to eat more. Even though she was upset that I would not eat more of her delicious food, I am worthy of respect and will not disrespect myself with eating more than I need. <3
  • I was so proud of myself yesterday.
  • I am so looking forward to this adventure. I have decided that 2016 will be my year for adventure. The adventure of self-discovery and empowerment. <3
  • Hi! I am Melanie. I married to my High School Sweetheart who put me on to the challenge. (20 pounds by July 4th). I lost 8 pounds. Now I am ready to loose the rest. I love the discussion and support of this group and am so thankful that the group is continuing. :p

  • I use language CD's to stop me from eating. If I am participating in a language lesson, I have to listen and respond. No room for eating. After 30 minutes of a lesson, sometimes the urge to eats goes away. If not, I have at least put it off for 30 minutes.

  • Well yesterday is the last of "The Dangerous Game". I saw that if I eat WAY TOO MUCH. I will gain weight, duh! I know it has nothing to do with gaining or loosing weight. It has to do more with the loss of my son. I talk to him during the day and imagine him answering. He loved Red Velvet Cake. I found Weight Watcher's red…
