This looks yummy! But I know that just 1 can of beans won't cut it for my crew. I usually use the equivalent of 4-5 cans for one batch of chili. We love our beans, lol.

There have been several times in my life that I was relieved for TOM, but it has nothing to do with weight loss, LOL!

I've been buying a few essential pieces for work as I drop sizes, but I do most of my shopping at thrift stores or on the clearance rack. I simply can't afford to pay full price for clothes that I hope to only wear for a short while since I'm still losing. Each time I buy something in a smaller size, I try get rid of…

I log in daily and my diary is open. Even on the really bad days, I log everything :) Anyone is free to add me as a friend

You look great! Here's to your continued success!
-
My diary is open if you want to add me. I can't help you with the low carb ideas though, cause I don't pay a whole lot of attention to them.

<raising hand> Guilty :blushing: My daughter's in girl scouts and we were peddling those cookies big time just to get them the heck out of my house, LOL!

Congrats on your loss so far and best wishes for future losses. Feel free to add me as a friend if you want more support!

I weigh everyday and I record it everyday, whether gain, loss, or nothing. I know it sounds obsessive/excessive, but I like seeing all the numbers plotted on the chart  . Generally, my weight doesn't fluctuate more than 1/2 lb at a time, sometimes as much as a full pound, usually on high sodium days.

Salsa :)

Once I reach my goal size and replenish my wardrobe in that size, I plan to stop weighing myself and judge by my overall fitness and how my clothes are fitting.

Sorry, I have no suggestions for you. I just wanted to say that I think it's great that your son wants to join you. I'm having a hard time getting my kids to join me (16, 13 & 11). You're setting a great example. Keep up the good work!

I walk/jog/run. I work close enough to home that I can drive home, change, do my regular path in 25-35 minutes, change again and eat a quick lunch either on the way back or once I get to my desk. I do a lot of smoothies cause they make it easier to eat and work and the same time. You could also do 5 - 10 jumping jacks…

My boys are 16 and 13. My daughter is 11. Challenging times!

I'm in Clark County, almost close enough, but not quite!
-
Not quite up to jogging or running yet, but I'm working on it and really hope to be a jogger or runner one day! Add me if you like :)

I weigh myself everyday. If what I'm doing isn't working, I want to know right away instead of waiting a week to be unpleasantly surprised by the scale. I used to weigh once a week, but my weight can easily fluctuate by 3 pounds in a 24 hour period (seems to be related to my sodium intake). Plus sometimes I would forget to…

Do these have to be refrigerated after you roll them?

I do a lot of salads for lunch and add a protein to them. Usually, leftovers from dinner, like chicken/turkey breast, steak, chili, taco filling with a scoop of plain yogurt to imitate sour cream, hamburger. I'll also add black beans, chickpeas, cheese, or lunch meat (I have the deli slice it thick so I can cube it). If…

Add me. We all need support :)

I've had beans start boiling in the crockpot when it's on high and they've been cooking all day. Not a fast boil, mind you, but they are boiling.

We use dried beans in meals several times a week. Typically, I just rinse them, sort out the baddies and foreign objects and then put them in the crockpot, usually overnight and part of the next day, until they get as mushy as I like them. If I'm in a real hurry, I throw them in the pressure cooker. I make a bunch at a…

This sounds interesting! What kind of yogurt and how do you strain it? And do you do anything else to make the cheese after you strain the yogurt? Details, pretty please :)
