  • Pop tarts are my crack! lol! I have to be careful how many I keep in the house! I didn't know they had Red Velvet now. Guess I know what I'll be trying this weekend!
  • I have that same problem sometimes with my husband! He doesn't mean to be unsupportive, he just doesn't think about it. I definitely can't do workout videos when he's around because I feel silly lol!
  • She does seem like a beautiful and happy lady. She is obese, and just happens to carry the majority of her weight in her hips though. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder, but I would still be concerned about health issues at that weight. Still, it's her life to live how she chooses.
  • This is a good tip! I was using single brew bags for a long time since I was the only one who drinks coffee in the house and I didn't have a coffee maker. My friend bought me a coffee maker for christmas and I invested in some Starbucks and I realized that good coffee doesn't taste nearly as nasty when it's black as cheap…
  • Low carb helps. I have to take Metformin to have any luck with weight loss (insulin resistance typically goes along with PCOS so it helps to break through that weight-loss resistance it can cause). That's one of my main motivators to lose weight- to know PCOS to the curb!
  • ^^^ This (as far as the biblical thing goes)
  • Ah! You know what- I misread that first paragraph thinking OP was the one that knew him for that long. I guess if you've known someone that long then there is more potential for a faster paced relationship! Still seems awfully fast to uproot and move somewhere after only 5 days into a romantic relationship.
  • Possible, but I would definitely proceed with caution in her case. When I started dating my husband I knew right away he was "the one", and we got married about a year after we had started dating (we were pretty young too). All what should've been a statistical nightmare has worked out for us (we've been happily married…
  • Bi-polar has ups and downs and goes through cycles though of depression/mania (I'm bi-polar). What she's describing sounds more like borderline personality disorder. My husband has a psycho-ex who was seriously bi-polar and could be really mean but other times she was really bubbly and happy and nice. Could be a…
  • 1.) NEW WARDROBE!!! 2.) Run a half marathon 3.) Take a real vacation with my husband :)
  • I would see a different doc if possible (maybe a dermatologist). Are you taking any medications? Sometimes certain meds can cause a rash reaction. Also take note if you've had any changes in soaps or perfumes, ect... (let your doctor know). Kind of looks like eczema to me but it could be lots of things so don't take my…
  • I gained weight really fast on Abilify. It worked great but I felt physically miserable because I gained weight so fast. It's really hit or miss as to how you will react to a medicine so it's one of those things you have to try and see. I'm on Lamictal now (for bi-polar). I'm up a couple lbs but I've also been sick and…
  • Good post :)
  • I drink 1 cup a day because it helps put my ADHD in check just enough that I can get my work done.
  • Not to mention she is a recovering anorexic and is seeking advice through a calorie-counting site rather than a professional. We can't read her blood work and we are not her doctor.
  • Because you are 5' 10' I really would not recommend trying to lose more weight. You are already at about a 16.5 BMI which is still considered underweight. Before you go forward with any kind of fitness program, I would recommend seeing a doctor and/or a counselor because it can be very easy to be pulled back into old ways.…
  • Read Kai Hibbard's story. That's why. ;) What you see on TV and what really goes on there are two very different things. http://www.bodylovewellness.com/2010/06/09/kai-hibbard-biggest-loser-finalist-part-1-of-3/
  • ^^^^ This! Also, you could be coming down with something. If you continue to have issues though, it wouldn't be a bad idea to go see your doc to make sure something else isn't going on.
  • If you can't find a flavor/recipe with them that you like, I would say ditch it and stick to other lifestyle changes. Not that shakes are always a terrible idea, but if you are forcing yourself to down them you are more likely to burn out and fall back to into unhealthy eating habits. My mantra is: if it's not something…
  • That's awesome!
  • If it's red with the minus sign that means you went over your daily alottment.
  • I did when I had some post partum hair loss after having my son. It can take a while to start working though since your hair growth goes through cycles.

  • I've never taken it for weight loss but it does make my skin/hair/nails super healthy! Gotta be careful not to take too much though because that can be a bad thing as well. I don't think I gained any weight while taking it either (I was still losing at a normal rate and didn't notice a difference in that area.)

  • Very sorry to hear about your daughter's struggles! I agree that they need to do extensive research before approving meds. However as to natruro/homeopathic remedies- just because things are natural or homepathic doesn't mean they are safe either. There have been a lot of things that people have loaded up on thinking "Hey,…
  • I've never cared for a doctor that pushes weight loss products and gimmicks. People fall for anything these days! Not all that glitters is gold.
  • So will my son!! :) I spent my bday in the hospital recovering from a c-section last year lol
  • January 12th! Turning 27 :)
