I'm definitely gonna try these Asics Gel Cumulus! I actually remember seeing them on a Runners Website and they got great reviews. They sound like a very good "2nd pair" for me to have. Glad you got it sorted OP,...they look great!

Agree totally with this^^. Weighing first thing in the morning (after going to the toilet) and before eating or drinking anything will be your true weight.
-
True^^.

I think appetite has a lot to do with it too. I'm only 5ft 4 but i have a BIG appetite.....so i could never live off just 1200 cals. Even 1500 cals (that was including exercise) was a bit of a struggle for me tbh! :# But if it's working for you OP, stay with it!

You can actually try to build up your shoulders to make them broader. On paper i'm a Pear shape - but due to having wider shoulders than my hips...i don't look pear shaped. I totally understand not wanting to lose more weight. i'm a similar height & weight to you (5,4/128) and if i lost any more weight, my Boobs would…

Double post.

I agree with this^^^. Maybe have a look to see if there are stores that are still selling your old Nike Free Models.

But aren't we talking about just one indulgence every once in a while here (i.e the BBQ the OP was talking about)? I don't even log anything when i go to a BBQ or eat out at a Restaurant.....especially as i'm maintaining. I don't feel the need to log for that one day. As long as i cut back for the next few days and do some…

OP, from your photo it looks like you are at a good weight already and don't need to lose any more. As others have said, eat at maintenance and start a weight lifting program. Pretty Tattoo btw!

True. Lol

Great link,...thanks! :)

If you have broad shoulders you're probably not a Pear shape then. Like me - if your shoulders are broader than your hips, you could be a Rectangle. I wouldn't worry about it tbh. Just concentrate on building muscle and staying healthy.

Totally agree. I'd probably be one of those eating 3 times as much as well. Especially if alcohol is involved. Lol When i go to a BBQ or eat out at a Restaurant, i make sure it's well worth it! Obviously those slim people that were scoffing themselves, don't make a habit of doing that all the time. Indulging once in a…

I've actually knocked losing those few pounds on the head... it wasn't really necessary. So i'm back to eating 2000 cals a day and eating enough Protein again. Thanks for all the "helpful" replies though. :) Some Foods listed i didn't think of eating, to be honest.
-
Tbh, my TDEE is 2000 cals a day and i basically stick to that regardless (as it includes my exercise cals as well). Some people say it's benificial to increase your Protein on lifting days, but again i think that's down to personal preference. I just try to eat around 0.8 x my weight in pounds every day. (i.e 0.8 x 128lbs…

Assuming your maintenance is correct, you shouldn't gain weight. In fact, you may still lose weight in the first couple of weeks until you find your true TDEE (i did, then upped my maintenance by another 100 cals or so until i stayed the same). I do Stronglifts 5x5 3 times a week (which is pretty effective) which for me…

I posted a thread a few weeks ago about winter running that may help. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10254291/outdoor-runners-what-do-you-do-when-it-snows

Very interesting question! [Bookmarking to see more responses].

Sounds fun! :)

Plain water or 1/2 fruit juice & 1/2 water.

Seems like it's more of a convenience thing. As others have said, just make yourself a packed lunch and take that with you. Sandwiches, Pasta based meals pepped the night before, Yogurt, Fruit,..... anything you like that is quick and easy. I do like fast food too, but it's just not healthy eating it every day.

I found TWD challenge group link from last year. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/23925-walking-dead-fitness-challenge Basically,... "This is an open 9 week long fitness challenge based on Season 5, Part 1 of the Walking Dead. Players will compete in fitness challenges based upon each week's episode while they…

Can you fill us in a bit more then?

I used this calculator to work out my maintenance calories. It wasn't exact, but close enough. http://www.sailrabbit.com/bmr/

Oh right! Oops. Lol Yes, TDEE -20%. ;)

I think i'll try and eat some form of Protein at breakfast PLUS have some Fruit too. I'll probably start eating more Fish/Seafood as well. I'm sure i'll get it sorted. Thanks for all your advice Guys. :)

My TDEE at the moment is only 1600/1700 (as i'm trying to lose) and it does include 30-40 mins of exercise. I Run and do weight training 3 days each per week, so i do workout 6 days a week already.
-
I've had a look at what i eat and i normally have fruit for breakfast (which is pretty much zero Protein). So what i'll do is replace the fruit with a Protein based meal. Maybe Bacon on Toast or something. And i'll definitely be adding Prawns (Shrimp) to my Meals. Hopefully that'll bump it up.
-
Pretty much eat Tuna every day but i totally forgot about Prawns actually (that's the UK version of Shrimp). Thanks babe.
