I’m going to be honest with you – I crave chocolate and I EAT chocolate – or someone will be murdered in my house! I get the BF to go and buy a small amount of really good quality chocolate because if I go to the shops I’ll devour the entire isle!

You need to move away from the thought track that one slip up ruins a whole day. I’ve found that if I make an attempt to exercise the calories off and get back under my daily goal (even if I don’t get it exactly under..) I am at least doing something positive to make up for the bad food choices instead of using them as an…

Oh sweetie =( Firstly, sorry to hear about your breakup. Its always so hard to end a relationship, especially when there is still love there. Secondly, congratulations on your loss so far =) you have done an amazing job and even though you feel as though he was a motivating factor, YOU are the one who has succeeded. I…

Oh my god, I am utterly dumbfounded. I can not believe someone would be so unbelievably rude and plain immature. I totally agree that you need to speak to management. 9 times out of 10, people that work in the gym truly want people to be happy and healthy and are there to support you in your goals. It is unacceptable to be…

I have been prescribed a very low dose of Duromine (Phentermine in the states) to kick start my loss. I am using this in conjunction with very strict calorie counting and twice a day gym visits though. Common sense dictates that if you pop pills without changing your lifestyle, you WILL gain back.

I do an hour of interval training in the morning and an hour of ‘group fitness’ in the evening (whatever is on the timetable for that day). I find that if I do 30 minutes interval on both the treadmill and the bike, I have the best results. Moral of the story: mix it up. You’re body will thank you and you will see results…

Agreed! It is amazing me how many posts there are regarding people noticing the negativity around here lately... Hopefully this is not a continuing trend and people will remember what this place is for!

Very interesting... and scary!

If you don’t want to read it, don’t open it If you don’t want to see it, turn the TV off… Some people on MFP, just like in life, would prefer to complain about things than take an adult step and be accountable for their own life and simply choose NOT to allow whatever is annoying/offending them into their lives.

Great work =) 20 minutes of light swimming is better than floating! I suggest having a conversation with your husband, and let him know that you are having motivational issues but it is really important to you, and your health and wellbeing, that you go to the gym so you would appreciate if he would MAKE you. Tell him not…

Welcome back! =)

Anything with the word ‘fast’ in it is going to end poorly. Don’t do it…
