Stationary bike & running.

Is riding a stationary bike just as good as running or jogging?
I was just curious because I have a stationary bike and I get on it everyday but if running or jogging will help me more I would love to mix that in as well.

running tends to burn more calories overall. but a stationary bike does really well too.0

Why not switch it up once in a while. Nobody said you had to just stick to one .0

I alternate between the two so that I'm not bored.0

I do an hour of interval training in the morning and an hour of ‘group fitness’ in the evening (whatever is on the timetable for that day).
I find that if I do 30 minutes interval on both the treadmill and the bike, I have the best results.
Moral of the story: mix it up. You’re body will thank you and you will see results faster – as well as having less of a chance of having your weight loss plateau.0
