After 10 years of competitive sports and personal trainers I am burnt out on the gym and wont go back, especially after suffering a career ending injury.   • Its about 1 lb a week, so its very safe. The recomended weightloss is 1-2 lbs per week. However most people don't loose that much because you will hit plateaus.   • I exercise when I can, but for the most part I stick to right around 1200 calories and eat lots of whole grains and fiber, keep my sodium low, cut out coffee and soda, and drink lots of green tea. Its been working great so far and I have lots and lots of energry after cutting out the fatty foods...my skin looks better too…

  • I'd blame the smell. That and you probably wore yourself out. I find that since I started eating healthy I really have no desire to eat sugery foods or dessert, unless its my TOM. This could explain it as well.

  • Its just an area that needs to be toned is all. No spot fat reduction. I just don't know any excersises to tone the area. It is the group of muscles right under the pecs I guess, before you get to the central ab muscles (so maybe upper abs?)
  • I already do eat very health and lots of whole grains. I used to be a competitive athlete and even then the areas didn't reduce. I guess I worded my question poorly. I was looking for excercises I can do to tone these areas, especially under the bust.

  • Hahaha. I'm tall and loose evenly through my body and have always carried my weight well...gifts from god I tell you! The only downside is I want to get down to a 9 like I was about a year ago, but I know from experience I will be stuck in a 12 for the next 35 lbs. :(
  • I've discovered, by doing the same thing as you several times, that anything ice cream is bad when had outside of the home. Actually desert period (unless its homemade) is a killer. :( And I so love ice cream and chocolate cakes at resturants too.

  • If I'm really low I will drink a glass of 1% milk or have fruit smoothie. It's healthy so I don't feel guilty. Also the smoothie can replace desert.

  • Well I've eaten half the twinkie and half the milk....and that puts me right at my calorie limit for the day. I am trying to be strong and throw the rest away. I need help!
