  • My ds was almost 1 when I got mine back. I'm hoping it will stay away that long this time too. I've only had two periods in almost three years. Woohoo! Lol
  • In my experience my body holds on to the weight until baby starts eating solids regularly. That was ten months for my ds. I'm currently nursing my third (and still nursing my 2year old). And I lose a pound here and there but it's really slow. Hang in there!
  • I wouldn't worry about it at this age. Evening breast milk has melatonin in it, natures way of encouraging a goodnight's sleep
  • I don't wean. I'm letting my ds naturally self wean, within reason. He just turned 2.
  • She still gets tons of nutrition from your milk, that doesn't go away with age. I'm nursing my two year old and 4 month old. Just log it as breast feeding an older baby so less calories are factored in. Kids are more sensitive to tastes and textures so it's really normal for them to be "picky", so all you can do is keep…
  • As a vegetarian who doesn't eat a lot of dairy I'm outta luck with most of these! # 4 & 6 sound good to me though, I think I'll try them.
  • I need to stop eating so much junk! I let myself get too hungry and then grab what ever. Not smart
  • Congrats. My youngest two are 20 months apart and that's too close for me. Lol. My youngest was born at 33 weeks on may 26th and spent three weeks in the nicu.
  • Prebaby: 148 Delivery at 33 weeks: 182, baby was 5. 6 pounds 3 months pp: 162 I've been extremely active but my body is holding tight. I'm working on cutting down on sugar. I have huge cravings post baby. I know I didn't really start losing weight last time until 9-12 months because that's when my ds started eating more…
  • I'd still go by weight. That's what counts as far as safety goes. I wish I had a recommendation but the convertible we have for our son is a beast. I'll be looking for a more compact one that rear faces as long as possible for my newest.
  • Quinoa is awesome! A lot of the time I make it in vegetable broth with black beans and corn and add fresh cilantro.
  • If he bites ever just unlatch him. He'll figure out quickly that if he bites food stops. My ds would always bite when he was done. Such a stinker. But he's just under two and still nursing strong, nipples are still intact. Lol
  • I ate chocolate at 4:30 this morning when I was up breast feeding. And I'm not logging it.
  • Solids before 1 is just or fun any way. Technically you could just ebf for a year and be fine. Bananas mashed up a bit, peas, black beans. You can nuke sweet potato. If you google baby led solids you might get some ideas. I personally feel like if they can't chew it up then they aren't ready to be eating it. Lol
  • Amber necklaces. Could he chew on a cold washcloth? My ds got hi first teeth just under three months. It was insane.
  • My 21 month old is about 27 pounds. My 3 week old is 5.10 pounds. She's a preemie.
  • I'll add you. I had my 3rd via section on May 26th. I had an abruption at 33 weeks so she just came home this week from the nicu. We are pretty close to the same start/end weight goals too. I'm thinking about doing a couch to 5k program when I'm able to start working out. I've been walking a bit so far.
  • I tried for a vbac with my ds but his heart crashed so I had an emergency section. Turns out he had heart defects that the ultrasounds didn't pick up. I'm going for a vba2c this time, so hopefully in July I will give you a success story.
  • Try to stay busy and not focus on it too much. I had a cvs test this pregnancy because of some issues that my ds has (heart defects and a chromosomal anomaly) It was a little hard to wait and to consider what I would do if something major turned up on it. She's fine, thankfully. Trisomy 18 is a tough one, I know it's one…
  • I love Jonah. Jackson and Landon are good too, but really popular right now.
  • I changed my settings to maintain recently but it seems like a big calorie allowance. I am pregnant AND breast feeding though, so I suppose I need it. You shouldn't let yourself be too hungry, but maybe try water and rest. I know I feel hungry sometimes when really my body is tired. You probably know all this considering…
  • I'm 30 weeks and just started drinking it. I'm hoping for a vba2c so I'm willing to try anything. The box said three cups a day so I'll be getting up to that much most days
  • I'm not really bothered by my pregnant weight, but I know when the baby is out I'll feel flabby and gross. I miss running and can't wait to get back to that.
  • I'm 30 weeks 1 day. Not sure how much I've gained. I try not to stress too much about it. I gain tons of water weight when pregnant. Last time I probably peed out 15 pounds after my son was born. Haha. But I'm starting to watch my calories a bit and stay active so I don't gain much more. This pregnancy has gone by so fast,…
  • it's a little early for a sippy cup. Even solid food is just practice before age 1. And too much water is actually really bad, some babies get water poisoning. If you really want to do a cup you can put breast milk or formula in it.
  • I took mine out for walks at that age. It's not like you have her in the stroller all day. She would let you know if she didn't like it. My son is 13 months old now and stroller walks are his favorite thing. He loves his Becco carrier too. Maybe your friends are picturing you off roading on bumpy dirt trails or something.…
  • I quit cold turkey almost two years ago. I started by just cutting back. Once I got down to a few a day they made me dizzy and I was just tired of the struggle and I stopped. It took almost two weeks. I'm the kind of person that would panic if I didn't have any, so it worked for me to have some on hand because then I felt…
  • I'm doing the 5k101 fitness trainer. I found it on itunes for free when I was looking for couch to 5k. It's in the podcasts. I'm one week away from running my first 5k in years. It's helped me so much. I started out struggling after two minutes of running, last night i ran three intervals of 12 minutes.
  • You log it under snacks. There are different amounts. I'm still doing 500. My nine month old is starting solids but he still nurses at night. I might cut it down to three hundred extra next week though.
  • I'm nine months out and mine is still a no show. Reeeaaally not looking forward to having it again. Maybe I'll breastfeed forever. LOL
