Whirl a frozen banana with a little peanut butter in your food processor. Tastes like ice cream only creamier!

Cooking light has some great recipes and you can subscribe to their free newsletter. Well Plated also has some great recipes.

Its a great website; use it all the time! Thanks!

Try another kind of milk with your cereal? Almond or coconut are my favorite.

Check skinnytaste.com. Tons of great chicken recipes. I love the stuffed jalapeno chicken.

Thanks! I just noticed that since I was here regularly last year people are posting a lot of recipes without any nutritional info and I don't have the extra time to figure it out.

I really like Cooking Light's version: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/fettuccine-alfredo-00420000014471/ Very yummy and I serve it to the family and they love it.

My favorite is skinny taste. Cooking light is good too.

I just started a new pair, different brand (Asics) because my toes were cramped in my beloved Brooks. I was amazed by how different they felt in terms of my gait and stride. I think they will work, just an adjustment.

Made it with seasonedpamko bread crumbs a few weeks ago and we loved it. It tastes decadent but its not, will be making it again soon!

This is a great basic recipe and I bet you could swap out bananas and other kinds of fruit, maybe even pumpkin? Yum I would think almond milk would work. I'm going to try it.

The best advice I can give having been in your shoes a few months ago,and contemplating running again at 48, is go to a running store and get fitted for some really good running shoes. They have made all the difference for me. Starting on the treadmill can help too. I ran on the treadmill for the first few months and I…

Wonderful to hear everyone's success stories. At 48, I finished C25k in July but was still running a slow 14:30 minute mile. I ran my first 5 k last Saturday, September 8 in 38:23, 12:28 m/m. Next one is September 22. Would love to match or beat my time, but it's lots of hills, so we'll see :) Congrats to all!

I will agree with others; protein and healthy fats helps stave off the hunger for me. I love avocado on everything. I have also learned to eat more frequently. When I am hungry I eat something: a greek yogurt, cottage cheese, a piece of fruit... Maybe I 'm wrong but I don't thing you should be hungry all the time. If you…

I usually throw some breasts in the crock pot with some rotel and then after 6 hours it shreds up easily and i use it for tacos or sometimes I just eat it plain...it adds a nice kick. I also used red hot wing sauce and a packet of dry ranch seasoning....all the flavor of hot wings and not near the calories…

I used slow cooking oats and blitzed them slightly.

It tastes like something you'd get at a restaurant only at the restaurant it would be 1200 calories. I want it for dinner :)

Thanks for the comments all. I was skeptical that my meat loving pasta loving sweetie would like it, but I didn't get seconds cause he finished it off. Oh man that "lasagna" recipe sounds great! Thanks for sharing! Here it is: Spaghetti Squash Bake 1 spaghetti squash (medium size) 1 tablespoons oil (butter/ghee/lard etc) 1…

Thanks that sounds good easy enough! Are there any ways to make stir fry without soy sauce?
-
That sounds good! Any others??

Could you do this in the crock pot? Not sure how the greek yogurt would do...

I wanted to add this. You can slow cook the spaghetti squash and have it ready for dinner when you get home: (SLOW COOKER or CROCK-POT). Choose a smaller spaghetti squash (unless you have an extra large slow cooker) so that it will fit. Add 2 cups of water to slow cooker. Pierce the whole shell several times with a large…

I love nutella in my smoothies, typically: one frozen banana, one or two T nutella, one scoop vanilla protein powder, and half to one cup (depending on desired thickness) unsweet almond milk. Yummy!
