I have done some beginner sessions - I really enjoyed it and was impressed at the workout I got in a short period of time - I didn't stick with it in the long run but I think it could be really beneficial if you are dedicated.

I think alot of women see this - you tend to retain alot more fluid during your period and it will come and go every month. I wouldn't be to concerned during that week, especially if you notice it coming right back off

I rather follow the machine - but when I do workout where I can't see what I am burning (and since I don't have a monitor either) I always take 5-10 minutes off my workout time. That way I am not overestimating what I burned.

Yeah, you don't have to do it everyday for 30 days, I do it 4 days per week, 2 on 1 off plus my rest day on Saturday - I have been doing it for about 40 days now and I plan to keep going until October.

I would count it as water - but I would log the amount of MiO you use, if it has an impact. My husband uses those drops since he doesn't like to drink water - my feeling is as long as you are drinking the water it is fine at least you aren't drinking pop or other sugary drinks.
