  • Definite apple body shape. No bust or bum, huge belly! I was 13st 5lbs at my highest, 10st at my lowest. Currently 12st 4lbs, unfortunately, but hoping to get back to 10st 7 as I workout more now and lift heavy so less worried about the number on the scale, more worried about how my clothes fit, which atm is too tight!
  • Attempting a serious reply (you all look incredible!) but struggling to stop looking at the photos if I'm totally honest!
  • I'm starting again because now I'm not fat fat, I'm normal fat. I don't want to be wibbly, but at the same time, I don't want to lose more off of my face/chest! Before was about 185lbs, after is 145lbs.
  • These photos are really inspiring! Over the past few months I've gained about 7lbs. Ideally I'd love to drop to about 130, but I'll just be happy to get back to 140 at the moment! I'm a UK size 12 and hate my love handles! Although I might have found a lad who loves them! :flowerforyou: I apologise for the underwear shots!…
  • Worked hard to fit into this dress for graduation!
  • I started on MFP October 2010 and had lost about 35lbs by April 2011. I maintained this for a year without difficulty (and without recording!). I've recently put on a few lbs but have split with my long term bf and have money troubles so a bit stressed (and I eat when I'm stressed lol).
  • I'm 21 and utterly useless since I hit my goal weight and maintained for a year. Trying to get back into the swing of things!
  • Thank you. Yeah, I still wish I had "the gap". I just want to stop the jiggle at the very top :p I do however wish my calves were a bit slimmer but I'll never be happy lol
  • I don't really have any good before photos. My legs have always been chunky. My thighs have gone from 25" to about 22.5". They still need to shrink more!
  • I'm 5'7. Started at 180lbs (heaviest was nearer 190lbs), currently about 140-142lbs (not dieting or recording my calories at all and have maintained this for a year). I'd like to drop another 7lbs but I think my body is quite happy how it is so I'm just trying to increase my exercise.
  • I think the face comparisons are incredible! You all look fab. I feel sick looking at my before.
  • I dropped 40lbs and maintained it for year and still feel the same. I'll look at a girl and think "Oh she's got a nice figure" and forget that actually, I look like that too now. I didn't drop loads of weight so it wasn't quite so significant but I hate feeling the same way I did. I have occasional days when I look in the…
  • I was 180lbs October 2010, dropped to 140lbs by April 2011 and maintained that for a year. I'm currently 142lbs and feel flabby but I think I need to tone rather than lose weight. I do a fair bit of cardio but hardly any strength so have dusted off my 30DS DVD. I'm thinking 130-135lbs. People say I look fine at this weight…
  • I'm quite apple shaped. I've still got a poochy belly, I need to exercise it off! I went from 13st 5lbs (187lbs) down to about 178lbs without trying and then joined MFP. Lost 40lbs, the biggest part of my stomach went from about 40-42" (can't remember which) down to 36" and my waist has gone from 36" to 29" :)
  • I don't struggle to maintain my weight but it makes me feel guilty. My life is far more active and therefore I eat more and feel bad even though I'm not gaining weight. Sometimes I don't mind what I see, other times I still hate myself. I could probably do with dropping half a stone or so but I think at the moment with the…
  • Thank for you all the replies, they're definitely keeping me smiling! I'm pretty much a size 12 on the dot now really but then I've got a slightly odd body shape, my waist is 29" (or thereabouts) but my hips are 37" so I'm a lot more "straight up and down" than I thought I was. As for what I did, I wasn't with the horse…
  • Thank you for the lovely replies, they've really cheered me up! :flowerforyou: The horse has lost weight with me  I'm 5'7" and currently hover between 135-138lbs.
  • I started out at 179lbs in October. I'm currently 139lbs (give or take a pound) and have stopped dieting. I've started 30ds before my graduation! Oh and I'm 5ft 7. (I'm on the right in the first photo at approx my heaviest - about 185lbs)
  • astovey, you're gorgeous! I apologise, most of my photos are horse-related!
  • Best photo I have to illustrate. About 185lbs (didn't start MFP until I had lost some on my own) to 140lbs. I'm 5'7" so not particularly tall
  • Well today was my repeat of week 3 day 1. I did it! Slowed myself down (covered 2.9km in 36 minutes (excluding my warm up walk). I don't know how fast I go because I'm running outside and I'm trying not to beat myself up over how slow I am because it's NOT the easiest place to run. Slow incrementing hills, uneven ground…
  • Thank you! Looking forward to my run tomorrow. I'll slow it down and try and stick to what the plan says, and if it takes me an extra week, so be it :D
  • I'm not sure I'd be able to hold out for the entire plan if I did it as it says. The increase in running seems quite drastic (for me) and I'd rather it take longer and have to repeat weeks than to run the risk of making myself even more demotivated. I'm still feeling quite down about it, but looking forward to my next jog…
  • Thank you for the replies, I actually feel like going out again and trying it all over! I will repeat this week until I can crack it easily. I have actually shortened the amount of time I walk for as I've noticed my recovery rate is much quicker than it was two weeks ago and my RHR is about 67 (I'm 20) so not too shabby,…
  • I think I will always have to do a shorter jog for my first one, but then if that means doing 8 reps in the session so be it. I really want to do this, I've never lasted this long with jogging and I don't want to quit now.
  • I think you're right. I guess I'll be sitting on week 3 for a while then haha! Thank you
  • I started this on 1st May. First try nearly killed me, 2nd was already better. By the 3rd I had decided I wasn't going to MAKE myself stick rigidly to the plan, I wasn't fit enough to push for 1.30 so soon. So I didn't. Despite this, on my 2nd week (tonight in fact) I hit 2 minutes, twice, and it wasn't a struggle either.…
  • Whilst I agree what if, like me, you're extraordinarily fussy (Don't hate me for it, I hate myself enough for it!) and despite having tried a huge range of fruit and veg, can still only bring yourself to eat carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, beetroot and apples. That's my 5 a day, right? I get SO bored of eating them every…
  • I'm 5'7". First goal was 150lbs, I'm at 142lbs and think I'll probably go to 135lbs, maybe.
